So what these people are saying is that Victor initiates the whole thing with that intentional headbutt, and you're saying Floyd HAS to accept the apology. Lol. **** out of here. Victor should have kept his hands up because Floyd really doesn't have to accept the apology. Trust me. He doesn't. If you want to talk about classless, Victor was classless first. And if you're looking for class in a sport like boxing, you need to go watch ballet or something. Boxing is not for you.
There is such thing as class in boxing unless you don't know what that term means. Ray Robinson, Ray Leonard, Rocky Marciano, Joe Louis, Pacquiao, Klitschkos and tons more are all boxers who have class. Wouldn't intentionally sucker punch someone regardless of whether they butted them intentionally or not they also wouldn't get in an 80 year old man's face to talk a bunch of BS. Mayweather is a great boxer but an absolute POS
Who cares what the ref said? There is an unwritten code and rule in boxing that when you touch gloves or hug in this case, you dont swing to knock the guys head off. YOu go and watch years and years and countless number of fights and you get opportunities when you can take the other boxer out, but it is unwritten that you dont.
But i agree this case is slightly different because Ortiz was dirty, so shouldnt have assumed Floyd was going to touch gloves more than once. Ortiz was naive i agree. Especially after giving Floyd a free hook.

doesnt matter fbi forensics even manny can agree floyd haters live thru word of mouth and biased opinions. how many vids are out there? telling the truth with manny and roach and team and arum and oscar and everyone lying and going back on their word and what not,. doesnt matter never will.
Floyd did something similar to Arturo Gatti.
The ref said break Gatti listened, but Floyd continue punching him and knocked him down what would eventually cause Gatti to lose a lot quicker. When a fighter doesn't expect to be punched the punch will do a lot more damage. Floyd did it before and he did it again. It's quite obvious floyd is also a dirty fighter always has been grabbing and punching vs both J. Marquez and Ricky Hatton. The guy would punch a 60 year man or a his own wife. He belongs in the UFC where almost everthing is allowed.
My question is this, if the fight was back on then why did Mayweather wait till after Ortiz had hugged him again? Why not just resume his attack as soon as Cortez said "let's go?" Yes, what he did was technically legal but it was a cheap shot no matter how you try to spin it. If Floyd is good as he says he his, he shouldn't have to win his fights like that.
So, if it’s not dirty fight then we can call it a fixed fight then... Ortiz was punched the first time and he didn't even defend himself and waited for the power punch to land on his face. :dunno:

Hatas gon hate
If after watching this video you still say floyd's punches were dirty, you have to admit that you just hate floyd that much! Dont cover it up with unsportsmanship BULL because it wasnt. The ref stopped the action, sent both fighters to neutral corners, and took a point. Then the ref continued the action by saying "lets go" and motioning with his hands, that means fight. Just because you take your eyes off your opponent doesnt mean he cant hit you, and if he does its not illegal, dirty or unsportsmanlike.
Hitting before or after the bell is dirty, illegal,& a point should be taken away!
Hitting someone while theyre down is dirty, illegal, & a point should be taken!
Hitting someone below the belt is dirty, illegal, & a point should be taken away!
Jump headbutting someone on purpose is dirty, illegal, & a point should be taken away!
Hitting behind the head or back is dirty, illegal, & a point should be taken away!
Hitting someone on the chin when theyre not looking IS NOT illegal, nor dirty, & a point should never be taken away!
Floyd was dominating the fight and could have won by a legit respectable KO. Knocking Ortiz out while he was hugging him and trying to apologize(which was stupid of Ortiz) was just classless and then getting in Larry Merchant's face like that the guy is 80 years old, I don't see how anyone can defend the stuff this guy does or be impressed by the way he finished that fight.
reading some of these responses you'd think there was an accidental butt, and floyd hit ortiz as he was trying to aplogize/touch gloves
but no, ortiz was headbutting him multiple times throughout the fight intentionally
i've never seen such a blatant headbutt as the last one
how are you going to do something repeatedly, then apologize about it?
**** an apology, he got what he had coming
Whoever said that Floyd was fighting dirty?
Say what you want to say, but what Floyd did was fukd up.
Think of it like this, would you have done that to Ortiz? If you say no, why not?
