Margo-Cotto 1-Tony ate everything Cotto had then KO'd him

I truly believe that this fight WILL NOT be anything like the first, Cotto will not go to war and will instead box and move. Wed be lucky to get a third of the action from the first fight. I pick Cotto by decision. I just can't see Cotto willing to go to war like that again unless he intends to retire after this fight. Marg doesn't respect anyone's punching power, and that's why Mosley and PAC destroyed him like they did.

Amazing how he ate those 4-5 punch combos and immediately smiled and landed his own punches That night was incredible, but you can only fight like that for so long. The new Marg tried that with Manny and he had to take a sick layoff to heal up again. Didn't he have to get a second opinion on his eye?

Cotto simply can't take pressure in high volumes. He will end up getting wrecked once again. He can't hurt Margarito and Margarito keeps comming forward no matter what. Cotto can only beat guys who attempt to box with him that has speed on par with him.

Margarito is going to run Cotto into the ground in the rematch. He broke him once and he KNOWS he can break him again. I expect Cotto to die before he beats Margarito, his number is marked all day every day by Tony. Tony is one bad ass dude with or without hand wraps and I have a lot of respect for the way he takes punishment with no thought for himself

That's what worries me about this fight. We know Margarito is going to just keep coming and coming and coming. And plaster or not, at the rate he throws punches, that **** adds up over 12 rounds =/. I do hope Cotto wins though, I feel like he really needs to get over that hump in order to really get 100% again.

The PPV numbers for this fight will be very disappointing IMO. Fight just doesn't have the same luster it had the first time around. 1st fight was a classic this fight is between 2 fighter who's gas tanks are very close to being empty. Neither can take the same amount of punishment they took the 1st time around, both are slower(damn shame to think Margarito could actually get slower than he already is) and punch resistance for both is not the same. Fight just should not have been on PPV

Cotto over Marg TKO 11th rd, I don't think that eye will hold up. Cotto will eat uppercuts all night unless he ties him up, which I think will be part of his game plan this time around. Cotto fought a very good fight but needed to work Marg's body, I have no doubt in my heart he cheated Cotto and took prime out of him. Anyone that feels otherwise is a blind fool. Hope Cotto gets his payback. Lets hope thats all we can do.

cottos punches had nothing on them after his rock wraps hardened up. my honest opinion. Yeah but your Puerto Rican so that makes you biased and I am Mexican so thatmakes me biased...no matter what we say for either fighter we have a biased opinion.

Both fighters have had a lot taken out of them so it is going to be interesting on how they do.

obviously margarito put plaster inserts under his eyelids and behind his lips, ate some too for a tight stomach and put rock hard gel in his hair... people seem to forget that he dealt with cotto thoroughly and not just in terms of landing artificially-assistedly hard punches. know he loses respect for the dodgy handwraps but that (presuming he used them in that fight) was no way the only factor in destroying cotto. he destroyed cotto mentally because cotto despite landing anything and everything could not come close to keeping margarito away or avoiding margarito's punches. epic beard or not there's no telling how much longer cotto would have lasted if marg's hadn't had said controversial wraps. the fact that he took all Miguel gave him does not automatically pardon him either. a suspension post mosley merits a cloud of suspicion over the cotto fight. period.

One of you jokers try getting pounded with plaster for 11 rounds by a man who is already bigger than you and let me know how that works out for you. I could not possibly express my hatred for Antonio Margarito enough and it shocks me how so many of you still overrate him and suck him dry every chance you get. apart from the controversy that followed post mosley fight, there still were things that cotto did wrong in his fight with margs. his defense was ass, and he barely went to the body. he needs to fix that. it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know when to get out of the way of a punch.

Whether plaster was used by Margarito in the first fight or not, I don't know. But it would've seemed secondary to Antonio's chin. Fact is, Marg was walking through a tremendous amount of punishment, all so he could deliver some blows of his own...like a "Tijuana Terminator". Unfortunately for Tony, he's sustained incredible wear since then. I see Cotto dominating like he did three years ago (can't believe it's been that long!), but Margarito won't have the same punch resistance. The tide will not turn this time. Antonio is one tough hombre, so I don't necessarily think Miguel will stop him, but Marg won't be able to get to him as in their first meeting. Cotto wins by UD.
