Mayweather in 24/7 right after the dispute with his dad said "If I wanna retire I can retire", Shows clearly hes just there for one more payday and once again retire. :sad2:
That's one of the silliest comments made today. I suppose next you'll bring out a conspiracy theory where the President of the Philippines is on the Top Rank payroll.......
You might be on to something there... You got inside knowledge on this?
floyd can retire whenever he wants to.
pac can retire whenever arum wants to.

i think this is floyd's last fight. i do hope vic pulls off an upset. pbf will think twice before retiring. but then his choices would be pac and vic again. two loses in a row would be a scary prospect.
wifebeater, aka Ellerbe's girlfriend, will likely go back on vacation. that biitch is just saying he'll fight pac to get hbo to put him back in the ring to get another paycheck. then that lil ho is gonna retire again.
Hey, how much do you charge for a suck off? Will you come to me?
LOL, just noticed your sig too retard. What the hell is a "Wifeebater"?

He only mentions retirement in hopes that Pac will sign to fight.
Pac wont fight till arum feels Floyd has nothing left. Look at his past fights...
fixed for ya bro.
That annoyed me. I mean, why is he mentioning retirement at all? He didn't say 'I'm going to retire' but why is it even being mentioned? He's 34, if he retires and comes back another year and a half later he will be 36. He obviously cannot keep doing that.
If he does retire again after this fight or take a vacation or whatever he may aswell retire for good. There are legit fights out there for him but the only fights that will overly enhance his legacy is fighting Pacquaio or Martinez and if he's fighting every year and a half and it's not one of those two he may aswell just retire for good.
i think floyd would use the vic fight as a basis whether to still go on fighting or not..
think he will use the vic fight to really assess himself..his heart, his head and what legacy he will leave behind...
"noone works harder than me...NOONE"
15mins later he mentions retirement again...what a hard worker that floyd is

His heart is not in it anymore. He fighting for a pay day. Hes not hungry though. Its just another day at the office. As long as both him and manny keep popping up with excuses, we wont see the fight.
Do you have problem understanding?
''IF i want to retire, i can retire....BUT AS OF RIGHT NOW, I'M OKAY, I'M FINE'
What he said at the press conference was the complete opposite. I was really hoping that it was true but after hearing that I took it as after this fight if he wants to retire he will. Can't deny his head is no longer in the game

He also said on a pc, he'd fight a lot more.
Floyd is too old to retire and then comeback with great results. Hes got a couple more years until his athleticism deteriorates rapidly.
A personal guess is he will fight 2-4 more times including Ortiz and then call it quits for good.
