I'd have been willing to bet that at 130 lbs, or even 135, at both weights I have seen written that Mayweather was at his best, that Hector Camacho would have torn him to pieces. All he had to do was catch up with him, and certainly Camacho was quite a bit faster than Mayweather, both hands and feet.
No disrespect, bro...but to me, Camacho was the Pauli Malignalli of his era. He caught Leonard at the end of his rope like Manny caught Oscar and Hatton, but no way in hell is Camacho in the same league as Mayweather.
Mayweather needs Manny to get the proper respect he deserves and I think he knows it and that is why he seems to be calling him out lately...but if Mayweather goes on to dominate or beat Manny then Khan and someone like Cotto or Martinez at 154 like they are talking...then retire undefeated with his resume and PPV records...youre talking the greatest of all time. It's all there for the taking...
Money Mayweather. What can you say? The guy has dominated from day one in almost every category out there. Scorecards, Compubox, decisions, ppv, paydays, record, resume...he fights the most feared guys coming off wins in his weight class, he has speed, he has a chin, he has the best D in boxing history arguably, and he has a mean streak when he gets pissed. He does not have the offense Pac or Sugar Ray Leonard and a few others and doesn't always go for the KO when he has an opening and his layoffs hurt his rep...but bottom line gentlemen, is this dude is special and we might seriously be watching the biggest and best fighter in the history of the sport. Period.
All I can do is take your comments as being your idea of humour. I see you end your post with "period". Well a period is a "dot", and a dot is about the size of the intellect of the guy who would write a post like yours.
I'm sorry to have to say this.

why? just cause srr is a fighter of the past doesnt mean he is more superior to floyd.
I cant stand boxing fans who live in the past. Stop following the sport then and keep watching tapes of old fighters
What's the difference between "watching the tapes of old fights" and "watching the tapes of new fights". There hasn't been such a change in boxing. I have lived through both eras. I have watched Robinson's fights as they were being fought, the very ones you see only on Youtube today, and I see today's fights.
The main difference I see is that the past fighters were more committed to winning. As for skill, the past top fighters were at least as skilful, with more dedication to winning, and Robiinson, in particular was lethal. With every punch in the book liable to be thrown at any moment, from any angle, I see nothing in a guy like Mayweather to even pose a challenge. Robinson was fighting Jake LaMotta at the same stage that Mayweather is right now, giving away 15 lbs with same day weigh-ins etc. Robinson was just 22.
At age 31, he had fought and lost for the lt.heavyweight title against Joey Maxim, giving away about 30 lbs, then retired for nearly 4 years, coming back at about Mayweather's present age, to some of his greatest fights against Fullmer, Basilio and others.
Robinson, as a welterweight, giving away 15 lbs, lost his first fight after about 40 fights, to that same LaMotta, and didn't lose his next fight until he was about 132-1, to Randolph Turpin for the middleweight title. Which he promptly won back via KO a few months later. AND...... he was well past his best by then, with many glory days still to come.
To compare Robinson with a leery, "careful" guy like Mayweather is not only an insult to Robinson, but to BOXING as a whole. It also shows that when there are actually a respectable number of posters voting for Mayweather, just how little they know about boxing.
If the poll was between sugar ray robinson and sugar ray leonard would you also have asked the TS if he was being serious?
Or would that be accepted cause SRL is a fighter from the past
SRL will r@pe FMJ but still comparing him to SRR would be a joke too. SRR is greatest ever, watch some of his fights, greatest display of footwork, speed, skill, power u will ever see.

Thats your opinion. Its just an opinion, some people have different opinions.
Next time dont react so shocked, it was a reasonable question.
I guess you're serious. I thought you were trolling
