Khan needs to beat Prescott

I feel Amir definitely needs to avenge his only loss. Firstly, Prescott isn't a top level fighter, while Khan is a superstar in the making (if not one already.) The loss to Prescott was devastating, so Khan needs to beat him to erase the only blemish on his resume and solidify his legacy. Otherwise no matter who he beats in the future, people will look back and say, "he still lost to a bum and never bothered to redeem himself." While some will always accuse him of being scared of Prescott. Then there's the issue of the chin. I think Khan's weight was one of the major reasons he was KO'd, and he has proven by moving up that he's got a solid chin. Perfect example was against Maidana. Even Judah threw a couple of good shots that didn't seem to bother Khan. But again, some will continue to call him "glass-jawed" until he withstands those shots from Prescott again. I think Khan outclasses Prescott if they fight again. If Khan keeps going on the way he is no one will care about that one loss. Just like no one cares about Pacquiao's first 2 losses. Well you're one of those who won't. That doesn't mean no one will. The people that put him down now because of that loss, despite beating Maidana and Judah will continue to do so, even if he beats Mayweather. They'll say things like, "styles make fights, and Prescott's style is all wrong for Khan."

I don't see the point in fighting him now since he has went on to beat waaaaaaaaay better opponents and Prescott has done nothing since beating Khan. He has 2 losses after beating Khan for crying out loud.

Nah not really,anybody can see Khan is a lot better(skill wise)and stronger..If he takes the fight I won't be mad at him,he should want to clear that whole thing up anyway...But if I'm Khan I'm not even thinking bout Prescott...

If I were Khan, I would want that rematch. But really, he doesn't need to fight Prescott again. Everyone knows that Khan put his chin on a silver platter for Prescott and Roach won't let that happen again. His style has changed. Just like Pacquaio and Wladimir didn't need to rematch their losses, neither does Khan. Eventually those losses will fade in the eyes of real boxing fans but will always be ammo for the haters, but haters don't really matter cuz really, they only hate themselves.

I'll also add,if I were Khan & I knew Prescott couldn't beat me,You could bet your life I would have kicked his a$$ to make sure the world knew.Like His country man Lennox Lewis did.That's beat everyone he faced.

It's like this,in reality Khan doesn't need to fight Prescott,period.But at the same time,people who support Khan,(or anyone in his gym),shouldn't say that Ortiz needs to fight Maidana. Khan has moved on & walked the dogs on fighters litterally twice as good as him.Just like Ortiz went on to become a welterweight champion while Maidana has been in action fights coming up short against the divisions best & making an Old Mexican legend look spectacular against him.

Waste of time. Khan is at world level now and should be fighting world class opponents which is what he is doing. If Prescott ever gets there then a rematch would be great. He doesn't need to prove he has improved by beating Prescott, its very clear he has improved since then. If you watch him in the Kotelnik fight and then watch the Judah fight he looks like a totally different fighter which is amazing in a such a short space of time. Freddie Roach has done wonders for him. The rematch was intriguing for some time after because Khan's chin was very suspect, but now that he has taken the punches of hard hitting 140 pounders Maidana and Judah, i don't feel the rematch is necessary. I'd still want to see it but i'd rather see Khan fight guys like Timmeh,Guerrero.
