Big Wlad beat Haye fair and square last night and carried him self like i gent throughout , I can see us having the Wladimir Klitschko for the next 5-10 years un till he retires :(
Anybody else find this sad as un less he has the right guys to fight hes so boring to watch :(
You mean selling 5000-10000 like Mayweather And Pacquia? Or you mean like all the other great p4p boxers who sell only 5000 tickets for a PPV with half of those free.
Or the greats like Bradley/Berto/Ward/Dawson who cant sell 1000 tickets at home?
Because, Wlad/Vitali can sell 50,000 tickets at home against bums. Why does he need to be like Andre Ward and fight at Home Depot center in Carson where there is 1000 people who actually paid for the tickets?
Love them or hate them they are dominant,
Vitali Klitschko 43 Wins 2 loses 39 KO for a 88.64 KO% with 209 Rounds Box.
Despite having 2 loses nobody has beaten him legitly and he has lost less than 10 rounds in his entire career.
Against Byrd he had a near shutout on the cards when his shoulder went out and against Lewis he was whooping his ass and taking his best shots while being up 4-2 on the score cards with Lewis gassing.
Lewis instead of giving a rematch, ducked his tail between his legs and retired, everyone Bood Lewis on that night, including the fans,HBO, and critics, saying Vitali was winning the fight and fight shouldnt have been stopped and for Lewis to make a rematch. Once the WBC told Lewis that he has to fight Vitali in a rematch he quickly announced retirement, his own trainer called him a coward for ducking Vitali and not giving him a rematch like a man when Lewis always got his rematches when he lost.
Wladimir Klitschko 56 - 3 with 49 KO for a 83.05 KO%
Wlad is the younger and more gifted of the two brothers but early in his career he didnt use his height and wasnt ring smart and suffered dumb loses. In theory this was good for him because he changed his style and started using his Height to his advantage, he hasnt lost since his loss to Brewster in 2004 and he KO'd him 6 fights later.
Ever since changing his style nobody has come close to defeating Wlad or even taking any rounds off him or making it a competitive scrap.
He is the first true HW we have seen that uses his height and reach to be so effective to the point of making all his opponents look bad. When was the last time we have seen a true heavyweight not lose rounds?
Vitali has beaten more undefeated fighters than any HW in history.
Wlad has a few less but is in the top 3 of beating undefeated HW, tied with Tyson.
Maybe if Wlad and Vitali were black they would get the respect they deserve. But you guys keep calling 2 guys who have one of the best KO% and Win/Loss records, who hold ALL the belts and are embassadors of Boxing boring when they in reality are so much better and advanced than anyone else in boxing.
Some people are so crazy that they say they would rather see them gone so there is exciting HW fights despite knowing that those "Exciting" HW champs lost or would get destroyed by the Brothers.
This is not WWF, we watch Boxing so we can see the best athletes in the world. People are confusing skill, we are witnessing something that has never been done, this type of domination from 2 brothers who hold ALL of the sports belts, which is pretty impossible in todays day because of all the greedy belt commisions.
But yea, they aint black so they suck. They need to be black/un-educated/trash talkers and lose a few fights with a lower ko% for them to be any good.
Very well said. The bros are the most dominant force in hw boxing history and they get ****ted on by insecure (black) american fans.
Look we know theyre a big shot to your ego, but eventually youre going to have to cope with the fact that the bros killed hw boxing in America. It didnt die on its own.
You can compare it to the way whites in america stopped competing in sprints after blacks came in.
While that is a fact another fact is they don't have to sell in the USA. They're selling out crowds of 60,000 at soccer stadiums in Europe. If America doesn't like it then too dang bad, find someone who can actually challenge them. While their styles may not be the most entertaining I still enjoy watching them fight.

You can seriously see Wlad fighting for 25 years as a pro, with what is supposed to be a glass chin and a limited arsenal? Damn, he must be good.
It's not their fault that the heavyweight competition is not on their level.
It's bad/sad that not many good talents are coming through in the HW division.
Exactally, HW division is an embarrasment. Othaer than the Klitschko's who are great fighters, everybody is fat, timid, or doesn't have any technique. Except for Adakmek who is good and gutsy but is too small and doesn't quite have the technnique to compensate for that.
I am talking about their styles being boring for the sport, hence why they cant sell in the USA...this is a sad fact .

This is not true.
The Klitschko's aren't responsible for nobody being able to cope with their size and skill.
Fact is, only one person can fight a Klitschko at a time. The problem is, nobody wants to take a risk until they get their shot at the title.

These are just some of the fights that can be made at HW. While there may not be a lot of great contenders, there are a lot of good fights to be made. If 6 of these fights happened in 2012, the HW division would be in a much better state.
I really want Wlad to fight a good fight so he can retire with one under his belt. It would be a great damn shame if such a promising heavyweight was never challenged his entire career
