As a person who has participated in a few defamation/libel suits during my years as a newspaper reporter, I know a lot more about the subject than a whiny, Pac worshipper. In a defamation suit, the plaintiff has to prove that the defendant made comments in public that adversely affected the plaintiff's career or life. In order to win, the plaintiff proves that he has been significantly financially harmed (lost a job, lost customers for his business, had his reputation ruined by the words of the defendant) by the defendant's actions. In other words, Pacquaio would have to prove that what the Mayweathers said actually hurt his career or caused him to lose a significant portion of his income. He can't prove that because his career has not suffered at all because of the drug allegations.
