this is somewhat very complex......the big question is can we have boxing commissions that can really implement, monitor and regulate such "disability" corrections measures, drugs etc., etc?
I agree that this is a complex situation that is why it needs to be discuss and debated, not to come to a definitive resolution but at least to show which side has the stronger case.
I still have to see any thread about either FMJ or Pac that is without bias. Some make valid points and some are outright dumb. We are here to discuss boxing and when the two sides have legitimate topics they do not agree on, it is just reasonable to have a civil debate in order that readers can make a decision as to which side has a stronger case.
tatang....civil debate!!!! hundred per cent yes to that........
To give an example: a boxer with stamina problems because of a physical condition, can he take energy drink or something that would help him overcome this problem?

I suppose it really doesnt. But when the TS is asking in a vague manner to hide their obvious bias and agenda then yeah I think it matters a little.

Does it matter which boxer anyone prefers as long as the topic is a valid point for discussion?

Floyd should be allowed to inject xylocaine. Xylocaine numbs floyd's fragile hands so he can deal with the pain to fight. So thats why he got the ZERO loss.
Pretty obvious from the TS that this was just a bait thread. He wants you guys to talk about Floyd and xylocaine.
Dudes a Manny dick rider.

Should boxers be allowed to used any artificial means to overcome a physical handicap so they can perform normally?
NO
NO
NO
Boxing is a test of physical superiority not chemical dominance.
you mean should a fighter use steroids for a special case?
Vitali got banned from the olympics cuz he got caught using steroids to heal an injury he suffered.
A physical handicap?
For the most part, yes.
If it gives you the ability just to enter competition, I think it's fine.
Plaster.. just no, that's for advantages in the ring.
and PEDs that aren't medically cleared and not just for functioning normally, no.
just proves the point that pactards wouldn't care if he were juicing or not.
seriously...tatang has to be a flomo alt because he sets himself up to look like a fool just too easily. yesterday he admits pac is ducking floyd with OST in a thread, now this.
I apologize for not being able to get across the points I was trying to convey. Next time I will try to go about it in simpler ways.
It depends. Anything below the waist (like an artificial foot or leg) is okay, but any modification to the hands or arms, or taking any artificial stimulant to help a lack of stamina is not. Just my opinion.
Agreed.
