The facts are staring people in the face: JMM is not going to a more effective welterweight over 2 years after having ONE fight there If anything JMM will be slower because he is older, added to the fact hes un-natural at WW These are not the words of bias of delusion, I just fail to see how any can disagree. It isnt a fantasy thread, its a speculative thread on a possible result. All the signs point to, as you've said, a slower older heavier JMM losing to Pacquiao. But in the event JMM wins, does this add credibility to Floyds win over a still old, slow, heavy JMM? Clottey has been in bigger fights than Martinez for sure, fought better opposition in victory and defeat for sure the only Martinez is going to be a draw is to get a big win. But Martinez needs to be on the A side of an equation or fight, like Pacquiao/Floyd are. In a Mayweather fight, Floyd is the draw. In a Pacquiao fight, Pacman is the draw. Against PWill and Pavlik, Martinez was not the bigger draw. Against Dzindziruk granted he may have been, but thats no big deal Martinez needs to be a draw IN HIS OWN RIGHT, which he is not.
