He's a popular trainer. He trains boxers and MMA'ers. He's more popular than anything else, Pacquiao made him very popular imo. Good matchmaker too. He's a smart trainer because he knows who you should be fighting and who your style is better against. Most of the times, he will try to avoid challenging fights to make himself and his fighter look good.

Roach is a good trainer, but he's overrated imo. He looks more like a great matchmaker than a trainer.
