So Vitali doesn't need to give Solis a rematch coz he "knocked him out"... ok that's fine, then Lennox Lewis didn't need to give Vitali a rematch when he TKO'd him. Vitali was on the verge of getting seriously hurt, he was getting thrown about like a rag doll against Solis and he knowsssss it.

Vitali Klitschko vs Lennox Lewis
THE TRUTH
Vitali took the fight on just 10 days notice.
Vitali was clearly winning the fight 4-2 on all 3 scorecards at the time of the controversial doctor stoppage. Lewis was badly hurt, was holding on for dear life and was staggering around the ring like a drunk, he barely survived the 2nd round. Lewis was getting outboxed, outworked, outlanded and was badly hurt several times in the fight.
punches landed
Vitali 156
Lewis 102
Lewis was exhausted, worn down and hurt from the accumulation of punches and was ready to get KTFO again, he collapsed onto his stool at the end of the 6th round, Vitali was clearly the fresher of the two, he was a man on a mission and would've KO'd Lewis for sure if the fight had continued.
All the fans at Staples Center cheered for Vitali and booed Lewis after the fight.
Lewis promised Vitali a rematch.
Vitali destroyed Kirk Johnson in 2 rounds and called out Lewis again in the post fight interview. The scared Lewis retired shortly after that fight.
Lewis turned down 30 million dollars for a rematch and retired like a coward because he knew he would get destroyed by Vitali.
Vitali dominated Lewis and scared his bitch ass into retirement.

George Foreman: "Vitali was winning the fight. Lewis got lucky. There has to be a rematch!"
Jim Lampley: "A lucky escape for Lewis who was clearly losing the fight"
Even Emanuel Steward was upset and pissed off at Lewis for blatantly ducking a Vitali rematch.
Lewis is scared to death of Vitali.

****ing seems that way.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, the Klitschko fanboys are the worst on this forum by far. I've never seen a ****ing inch of objectivity from one of them.
What do you expect from robotic europeans?
Oh yeah, and...
Vitali Klitschko vs Lennox Lewis
THE TRUTH
Vitali and Lennox both took the fight on 1 hour's notice
Vitali and Lennox were both clearly winning the fight 12-0 on all 5 scorecards at the time of the controversial doctor Shaw-Hi's stoppage. Vitali and Lewis were both badly hurt and staggering around the ring like a couple of half naked giant drunks, they barely survived the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th rounds. Vitali and Lewis were getting outboxed, outworked, outlanded and were hurt several times in the fight (by the referee).
punches landed
Vitali 43756877
Lewis 1
Lewis was exhausted and worn down by the constant nagging from Emmanuel Steward, he collapsed onto his stool collector at the end of the 6th round because he'd eaten a bad goat patty before the fight and it was now giving him the squits. Vitali was the fresher of the two, he'd only had a salad and a cup of green tea and his stools were therefore of a uniform texture and shape. He was a man on a mission and would've KO'd the porcelain throne for sure if the impromptu toilet break had continued.
Vitali intimidated the **** out of Lewis after the fight and made him look like David Haye. All the fans at Staples Center cheered for Vitali and booed Lewis after the fight, even Lewis's mum and Mr Blobby (actually the same person).
Lewis promised Vitali a rematch... of battle****s. Vitali, recalling the horrible stench of before, wisely declined.
Lewis turned down 25 million bottles of Reggae Reggae sauce for a rematch and retired like a coward because he knew he would get destroyed by Vitali. Shortly after that he died of obesity, past-priminess and old age. RIP.

Any fanboys by their very nature are going to be biased, unthinking and annoying. Don't confuse them for fans, who can at least question and engage in (relatively) unbiased debate.
And steelspammer goes beyond being a fanboy. He's like some parasitic organism whose very existence depends on him continually combating every single slightly negative thing said about either Klit. He may just, in fact, be a new form of internet forum life.
Lewis was coming on by the end of that fight, Vitali should just be happy with looking good by that doc stoppage because he would've been stopped before the Championship rounds.
You know, I don't even care if Solis never fights for the belt again. He had his chance and he blew it. He didn't even deserve to be in there with seventeen pro fights on his record.
What gets me is how some people choose to focus on Vitali's amazing "KO of the Year," (a.k.a. glancing punch to the hair) while glossing over Solis's injury. Vitali's eye was falling out against Lennox, and all his fanboys wanna do is focus on how "Big Vit" was ahead on the cards. Please....
No one is seriously calling that a KO of the year. Those who do are either deluded or just taking the piss. Don't take it seriously.
When an illegal punch like hitting someone on the ground (RJJ/Griffin and Abraham/Dirrell come to mind) alters the course of the fight, we usually get a loss by DQ for the perpetrator of that punch. Other outcomes are a NC or if more than 4 rounds have commenced, they go to the scorecards. In this case we have a punch that broke two rules at once (holding/hitting and raking the back edge of his right glove across Vitali's face,) but Lennox wins by KO and rides off into the sunset.
No shame in losing to Lennox Lewis, but the loss was a bit dubious and the legality of the "punch" that opened up a fist size gash in Vitali's face (after which he fought blind in one eye and still held his own) never became an issue. A rematch would've settled things, but the last couple years of Lennox's career, he was interested in little more than avenging a loss and chasing a record payday with a shot Tyson. Which is why he ignored Wlad's challenge for two years (before becoming irrelevant after the Sanders loss) and only fought Vitali in the first place because Johnson dropped out at the last minute. In fairness, he earned that right and he was due.
And yeah, I'm getting a little sick of Steelfister's copy paste jobs myself.
I've seen the fight a couple of times, and I've slo-moed the alleged punch that caused the major cut. It looked legitimate. Unless you can show me a Youtube clip backing your claim, I'm not convinced.
I'll say this about Lewis "avoiding" Vitali: Who can really know what's in Lennox's heart? But I wouldn't doubt if he thought it a good idea to leave the game with all his marbles and a fat-enough bank account, rather than face a tough, hungry adversary. I wouldn't call that fear. I'd call that prudence.

Nothing controversial at all about the stoppage. His eye lid looked like it was about to peel off. I agree Lewis was fading quick, but there isnt a ringside doctor in the world that would let that fight continue unless they wanted to lose their job. Its sucked for vitali because the punch that caused the cut was more of a thumb, but **** happens. He deserved the rematch.
Solis....it was only one round, so he may need to fight a good name before a rematch. But his knee may take a lot of time to heel.
Is steelhammer an automated program???

Vitali might not be around when Solis' knee has recovered, if it ever recovers.
You can fight with a cut above the eye but not with a busted knee, unless you're in a wheelchair.
Keep trolling, it entertains me.
