aha it's the same frickin' game; skip the bs about them getting feedback and changing it before release, they never do, and even if they do it's in a patch 3 months later along with some pricy dlc for some chump boxers like manfraudo.
The movement looks better though it looks as though they're floating, it just looks like rock em sock again where they can't guard and punch at the same time, anyone got any information about clinching and fighting on the inside?, if that isn't implemented then it's basically the same game but with new wrapping.
Also they hyped up their championship / story mode a few years ago and look how that turned out, a piece of crap that was nothing more than a calendar and fight after fight.
exactly!! The people will fall for it again tho.....
Pacman don't look as light-footed as he is in real life..commentary gonna piss everyone off at some point..but I bet I'm gonna love this!
Anyone know what the training is like, I hope it's not as dull as the others
Doesn’t look like a huge improvement to me couple that with the lacklustre roster history of crappy career modes and online play swarming with cheats and punch spammers I may well give this fight night a wide birth.
Looks very good actually!
I agree that the most unrealistic is how much and frequently they land their shots, but if you make that more realistic, you lose a lot of casual gamers, because it's not enough action for them...
Wow. I am so impressed with this game. Seeing Cotto, Pac, Ali and Tyson in there actually fighting in the same mannerism as their real selves was a sight to behold. The developers have really paid attention to detail and I am just totally psyched for this game.
@ the people who whine about realism: It's a video game, not a real fight simulator. You don't just make a game completely based on real life. The ultimate goal is to make a game fun, and by the looks of it, I'd say they blended realism and good gameplay just fine.
Ty for posting those vids. :boxing:
Its still too unrealistic. They have to make a game where you can't stand up after eating 50 bombs in one round. They kept landing flush shots on each other and nothing happens...smh.
It doesn't look too different than round 4 and the commentary is identical.
Plus whats the point of having a ref in there? Its distracting.
I agree.
Also what's ridiculous is the sound of those punches.
It's like they recorded someone slamming a truck door or a refrigerator...smh
The handspeed is off for Pacquiao. Although i read that you can throw a flicker jab, regular jab or stiff jab.
Why doesnt the referee break up the clinch?
I like how Pacquiao has his raise hand taunt hopefully they put in the tap gloves taunt.
Also no health bar? That will take some getting use to but its realistic I suppose.

What's up with the ridiculous punch stats?
I read that they would fix that and even saw on their FNC messageboard that a few guys played the game already and that the punch stats were more realistic (some fights 22% connect rate, others 31% etc) but after seeing this demo I see the same garbage.
No disrespect but it's hard to take a game serious when each fight results in guys landing 60-70% of there punches. Even beatdowns like Klitschko vs Arreola, Pacquiao vs Margarito.....those guys don't get numbers like that.
I mean if someone like George Foreman lands 300-400 power shots on a guy in a 12 round fight, his opponent just doesn't lose.....he gets carried off in a stretcher/dies in the ring.
would not worry dude, they put the demo out early and let ppl play online so they get great feedback to make the necessary changes for the best game possible and most realistic sim game. The necessary changes will be made after they get the feedback.

How long would fights last if guys actually fought that way? :lol1:
To be fair, they were fighting a three round fight.
If it was twelve round fight endurance and damage would come into play.
