My fault for the mis-spelling of his name. I havent seen the fight since it happened(What 04???), And I recall him handling ODH, so much so, that it was a blatent robbery. Now when I get some time, I'll go back and review the fight. But goin off my recollection ODH didn't happily accept the victory as he KNEW he was spossed to lose that fight.
Yes that's true, DLH didn't look totally convinced in the post-fight interview. Sturm probably deserved the nod, but it was a close fight, not a one-sided robbery.
It's Sturm - not Strum, and he didn't completely handle DLH at all. It was a close, competitive fight in which DLH was landing flurries here and there and mostly punching in combinations, while Sturm was staying steady and consistent with his excellent jab.
DLH was leading early, but then slowed down and allowed Sturm to take over late on. Whoever you thought won, there wasn't much in it either way.

If I aint mistaken SJ. That fight was Oscar's 1st at MW, and Strum was still up and coming. So for him to completely handle the more experianced ODH spoke volumes to me at the time. Now I admit. Strum has done nothing comparable since then, but it doesn't take away the fact that he has skills bruh.

And we all know the kind of beast DLH was at 160.

against C, D-class opposition he has
I know his opposition of past years has been pissy at best panda homie. But when you say Strum to me, I think of the robbery they pulled on him right before ODH got KO'd by Bernard. I remember watching that fight and thinking I haven't heard much about Strum. But was impressed with how he handled Oscar. Now ofcourse I dont evpect him to be in the same form as from back then. But I do expect him to be close to it because he hasn't been shop worn by stayin over there in Europe.
Now I digs that like the devil. Angulo vs. Kirkland is nothing but pure fireworks. And Strum vs. Martinez is a very interesting match up. Strum is still riding the ODH robbery for me. I hope he's kept himself up after all these years.

160 pound tourney involving... Pirog-Lemieux, Angulo-Kirkland, Pavlik-Williams, Martinez-Sturm in the making, from Boxing Truth Radio

Isn't Pavlik a Top Rank fighter? If he is then this is complete BS. Arum would never allow it, he is on record not supporting tourney style match making. He would never cease control of his fighter's fight schedule they way a bracketed tourney requires.
I have doubts about this too many unknowns
Angulo still has no ability to fight in the US and Shaw will not let him go even though it appears Perro no longer wants to fight for Gary.
Kirkland JUST got out of jail
Pavlik JUST got out of rehab
I've got any amount of points this isn't happening. Who wants it?
I talked to Kirkland on the phone last week, his about to relocate to Vegas by the end of the month. His been looking good in sparring, still needs to get his wind back.
yeah he is working with Kenny Adams I think
