as far as Fighters...I HAVE ACTUALLY SEEN...James Toney was a BEAST when it came to counter punching and he had the shoulder roll to go with it which made it look even more smoother
:lol1: I'd love to see it, but realistically just can't..
Me neither.
I'm just hoping for a semi competitive fight.
If Litzua can last past round 6 Cab, he might gas like the Mathebula fight.
stevemaxboxing Steve Kim
Some random thoughts from the weigh-in, Caballero, even though he was moving up in weight and was over, looked very dried out
Come over to the dark side Reed.

I made a small bet on him, but only because I got 4:1 odds.. I'd still have to favor Cab..

Any change of thoughts on the Cab-Litzua fight now that Cab is having issues with the weight?

Depends on who he was fighting, in his young prime he was more offensive, but the closer he got to 30 and after he started counterpunching a lot more... Same for Floyd actually..
Their styles are more based on counter punching overall... But Roys was also.. The right hand out to block the jab and the left down low to bring out the hook when you threw a punch... Was one of his most used counters whent he reflexes and speed was still there..
Toney for sure..

May of been a bit hasty, I always seen Roy as more of an offensive boxer then a normal counter puncher really. He liked to take the lead instead of letting the opponent come to him.

When I think RJ I think blazing combos and incredible power and speed.
He was a very good counter puncher.
I think Toney and Mayweather are bit better.
I think that was a bigger part of there game.
