If Maidana whoops Khan's ass, I'll start to worship you and call you God.
I look forward to it. As far as I concerned a Maidana win is already in the bank.
I am anxious right now because I have a trip booked to go see it and I am worried that Khan will pull out.
It just cracks me up that people think Arthur Abraham is going to win this fight.
Not only is Froch going to win, but he's going to make it look easy.
Genius indeed.
Very nice call, Hitman!! Props to you for seeing that.
Keep my 100 percent correct prediction on this fight in mind when you hear idiots saying that Amir Khan is somehow going to beat Marcos Maidana.
I've never seen an Abraham fight that I would classify as "exciting". Not 1.
AA may have the "Abrahammer" but like every other fight in his career he will keep it holstered for 10 rounds while he stands around doing jack sh*t.
Froch doesn't have to move. That's why I think it's hilarious that people think Abraham will win. Dirrell didn't have to move that much to beat Abraham, for the most part he stood right in front of Abraham and let his hands go, turned his opponent, then let his hands go more.
Froch is a nightmare for Abraham because he is tireless and will not stop throwing. Being that Abraham does not have the skill to counterpunch and always waits until his opponent is done throwing it means that he will be sitting around waiting for Froch to slow down all night and Froch never will.
Plus Froch has way power than Dirrell, a better jab, and throws from very awkward angles that are more likely to break through Abraham's guard. He also takes a punch better so he can stand up to at least 3 or 4 big shots without folding.
Froch is going to win every single round in this fight. Abraham has an outside shot at scoring a KO, but I think Froch is more likely to score a KO himself.
After this fight people will finally have to admit that they overrated Abraham all along.
What a genius....
Abraham said the same thing before the Dirrell fight when I questioned him about giving away all the early rounds against lesser fighters.
I specifically asked him if the extra 8 lbs would allow him to start faster and fight harder than he had at 160 and he said "yes, I intend to put intense pressure right from the start".
Obviously he did not do it. And he won't this time either. He will go just like he always does.
It's just like Zab Judah telling us every fight that he will do something different, and then he never does.
People shouldn't be so gullible.
It's pretty stupid of people to make the observation that "Froch has crap defense and Abraham has great defense."
Andre Dirrell had no trouble getting his offense going against Arthur Abraham's garbage ass defense, yet he could barely land anything on Froch.
I guess if standing around with your hands over your face is what you consider good defense in the sport of boxing then you probably don't know what you are talking about and shouldn't be taken seriously.
Starting early for Arthur Abraham is fighting in the 8th round instead of the 10th.
Bump.........
I believe Abraham will start earlier.
You know Froch started late against Kessler. Basically the first three rounds or so, he was sizing and measuring him. He wasn't terribly active.
I just wonder if both guys will be cautious the first 4 rounds or so.
I really believe though, later in the fight, it will turn into a fire fight and the bigger puncher AA will win it by stoppage.
I don't want to dismiss the ability of Froch because I think he's damn good albeit unorthodox, and he gets a lot of hate on here.
I think Froch will take a page out of Dirrells book. He'll move around employing his excellent jab and throw hooks to the body on the inside. Froch MUST move and take advantage of his reach advantage. If he starts to brawl with AA it'll spell his doom.
Arthur Abraham is all good when he is fighting sharpshooters, the ones that shot one jab or two then quickly move out afraid of getting tagged by Abrahammer.
Let's see what AA will do when Froch is moving forward smashing hooks and uppercuts at him and his excellent Clottey guard.
If you thought AA was inactive during his recent previous fights, he'll be even more come Saturday, especially when he's stretched out come 5th round..
Heh trash talking is pretty fun.
you mean like miranda did?
Well to be fair Froch will be much easier to be offensive against. Still even if he improves 20% its better than his usual. I think he could be kayoed in this one as he will be up against hist first real super middle with power and some skills.
Froch must improve his defense. If he hasn't that will spell doom. AA has that sick power all the way to the final bell.

I'm not saying you are wrong, but the difference this time is that AA has tasted defeat for the first time. Now we'll see if he has learned from it.
A key lesson should be to start faster. In the past he has gotten away with slow starts, but he didn't against Dirrell who was outboxing him.

Froch's reach advantage is not as big as I expected.

i bet the arm length would be the telling factor with Froch being quite a bit longer. Wont matter much, this fight wont go much more than 5 or 6 rounds. I do think if Froch fought as well as he did against Kessler he will Knock out the King. The guy seems to be improving on his boxing skills
Abraham is all wrong for Froch. Abraham is going to sit back, let Froch tee off on him hit nothing but forearms then when you least expected a right from hell is going to land and Froch will go down.
Im wondering how much workrate Abraham can put in...I think he will talk about workrate but rely on his usual tactic.

what make this fight interesting is whether arthor will learn from his last fight and put in alot more workrate in the early rounds, because froch possibly has a better chin than dirrell.
Its a call em fight, and im going to for froch, simply because i want him to win. Its that close. I reckon it wont last 5 rounds though, because abraham will swing harder than he didn against dirrell. So my prediction.
within 5 rounds, kncokout and ill sway to froch...

Very hard fight to call for me as well, but I'm siding with Froch more because of his workrate and dynamism.
I think AA will really have to fight out of character to make Froch quit or knock him out and I don't see that happening.
