Martinez can not only outbox Floyd in his own way, but he can knock Floyd out. A slick southpaw is far trickier than a southpaw brawler
(he's not really a brawler but u know what I mean)
Easy Martinez. I can see many people talking about Pacs output and punch combinations which will cause problems for Floyd. Pac has done this too brawlers other offensive fighters NOT against someone who places his shots well. I can assure you Manny's output would be quite less than his recent run. There's gonna be much concern about Floyds accuracy and Manny will have to be as careful as Floyd would and have think about his combinations
Martinez on the other hand is much bigger, also a southpaw. Martinez style is very much unfavorable to Floyd prob even more so than an offensive fighter. With Manny Floyd is able to utilize his reach advantage much more than with Martinez. In addition Martinez has accuracy and likes to place his shots. It would be an interesting match-up nonetheless.
In the end Martinez would be a significantly difficult fight.
Martinez beat Kelly Pavlik and knocked out Paul Williams in the 2nd round... he is a middleweight and also a slick southpaw with boxing skills.
Margarito beats Martinez and PAC beats Margarito decisively. What's your thought?
If you had to choose one, which one would it be? Which is the more tougher fight for Floyd, Manny Pacquiao or Sergio Martinez??
Floyd aint fighting neither, so it dont matter.
Sexio is the tougher fight. He is very skilled, quick, hits hard and is a big man. On the other hand, I think Floyd toys with Manny after a couple rounds.

I honestly believe floyd would get past martinez...
Pac is the tougher fight for him... just my opinion.
Sergio has decent speed but he will have difficulty finding the fast and defense oriented floyd. Pacquiao with his speed, accuracy, proven chin and voluminous punches will be very tough for floyd. again just my honest opinion.:boxing:
It's Pac for sure because Martinez is a bigger target. Pac may not have the best defense but he's still capable of hitting Mayweather one way or another. Mayweather would have to be precise with his jab fighting Pac's in & out style. Not only that, Pac's chin is pretty underatted so Mayweather would have to beat him in the scorecards. But then again, Pac has a fast offensive output that could force Mayweather to open up and be aggressive. If Mayweather hits one or two at a time, he would not win imo.
I just have Pac edge over Martinez' offensive output that's why I think the Pac fight is tougher.
I think in order to really prove himself, Mayweather needs to fight a much bigger man. I'll admit Margarito isn't that great and it wasn't THAT big of an accomplishment, but at least Pacquiao tried it. If Mayweather beats Martinez, he doesn't even need to fight Pacquiao anymore to prove he's the best.
Pac will be the easiest fight of Floyds career, don't let all these delays convince you that Pac Is his match. I see nothing but a first class schooling.
Yeah, schooling in the science of ducking.
Mayweather's OST crusade was 19 days short of completion.(Floyd-Shane Bout)

Both are tought fights and either one would be the best win on his resume, I'd honestly love to see him face both of them.....that would clear a lot of doubt around his career if he managed to beat both
Pacquiao is the tougher fight.... He is aggressive and can put on a lot of pressure. He has a solid chin and iron will.
Although I think Floyd would beat Pacquiao should they fight, I do believe that Pacquiao has the best chance of anybody in boxing to beat him.
Martinez can beat him as well, but I think Pacquiao is more favorable.
