The problem I have with the camp/Arum they keep matching him up with fighters he does well against. The type that are offensive-in-your-face-hit-me kinda guys (except clottey). Where is the preperations to ever fight Floyd in terms of math up styles. I think the last technically sound and defensive boxer in Pacs record was Marquez and as a style match-up it was the worst style to face Having said that pac has come a long way. If he faught marquez now at 147 or 140 I would pick pac to win. Against floyd i still don't know given my point above. The way I see it, the fact that Pac gets hit a bit too much is a major factor. The best argument in Pacs case is his unique offense which works well toe-to-toe and have to admit he's good at it, even coming in and out throwing a bunch of combos. But can he bring the same style mentally which he has been using against offensive fighters into a fight with Floyd? As much as i like Pac, I can't see it at the mo until he gets it on with a fighter similar to Mayweather and possibly base a decision on that.

I wouldn't say Pac get's hit a lot, he does get hit but that's because he's aggressive, he comes to fight. You won't get hit if you don't get within distance and don't engage fighters. Mayweather doesn't get hit as much because he's a slick fighter but also because he doesn't come forward, he's a counter puncher and just sits back and waits for you to come to him. That's why he wins so much but that's also why he isn't very exciting to watch to the avg fan.

Margarito is a punching bag, even you know this, so he doesnt really count as uses his face as his defense. Shows Pacquiao is only accurate against punching bags or guys with poor defense. We know Pacquiao has a good offense, so he will land, but the point is Pacquiao's defense is poor and that will be his downfall against Mayweather, he simply gets hit TOO MUCH. Even in the long term you will see this will affect Pacquiao more than Mayweather because of their styles. but what do you expect? Pac, like you say is an offensive fighter, so he WILL always get hit. He throws alot of combos so obviously he will be open alot. Well...you need to understand that he get hit because he like it, he enjoy to risk it and create drama and uncertainty to make entertaining fights, he loves exchanges, in fact he is the ultimate exciting fighting man in the planet. The good thing is he has the skills and granite chin to back it up. Enjoy it while is last because Pacquiao is not forever.

This is news how? Mayweather doesn't have a high punch output. & he has shown that he can get hit by slower opponents than Manny . Pacquiao WILL get hit.. but it's not a question of whether Pacquiao gets hit or not. It's a question of how well can Mayweather handle Pacquiao's punches when he hits back.
