I don't think that there is any denying that Rafa has heart.

If the guy was De La Hoya he would have just dropped to the mat from one of the many punches Juan Ma landed. Than all he would have had to do was punch the mat a few times and misjudge the count and then he would be a fighter who went out on his shield instead of a quitter.

If Rafa hasn't earned the benefit of the doubt who has? There is no reason to not believe Marquez. And he fought an incredible fight, nothing to be ashamed of. Good win for Lopez, Marquez is still great. Great post.

Injuries are part of the sport. Clottey had problems with his hands against Margo? That's HIS problem. Hearns had hand problems against Hagler, that's HIS problem. Malignaggi had hand problems throught his career, well, that's HIS problem. Not Hatton's, not Cotto's. Juanma punished him. Too much. For Rafa's sake I hope the rematch doesn't materialize.
