I hope the fight takes place here in Saint Louis ( I haven't been up on all the news about this fight) because I will be there for sure. However, they BETTER give us a hell of a fight based on all the talking back and forth with these two guys. As I have said before, my steam for this fight was kind of zapped after Alexander's performance against Kotelnik, but I'm sure as it gets closer, I'll get more excited.
What are you expecting out of the Bradley-Alexander fight?
I expect Bradley to start fast, going forward trying to pressure alexander and alexander boxing behind his jab circling around Bradley. The first half will go 3-3 in rounds with Bradley looking slightly better. Then in the second half alexander will take over with his boxing skills and power, making Bradley think twice about rushing in. In the second half bradley will be too hesitant, and alexander will box him from the outside, winning 5 of the last 6 rounds, maybe 4-2 in rounds if Bradley shows some bravatto.
I see alexander winning a UD with scores like 115-113, 116-112. 115-113
No offense Coach, but it had better not be in St. Louis.
I hope they don't end up squabbling and delay this fight due to disagreement in venue location. I can't see Bradley ever agreeing to fight in St. Louis, especially after what happened to Kotelnik there.
Dec. getting close Coach... how's the wife doin? You gotta be getting excited huh?
Hey Lorily! Its always good to read your posts on this site. But, I hear what you mean about it being here and what happened to Kotelnik. I have been on here and I have said a number of times that I thought that he beat Devon. So, I can totally see where you are coming from wit the venue concerns.
And, yes! December is around the corner and the wife is doing well. Thanks for asking and I'm SUPER excited. She goes to the doctor today as a matter of fact, but I'm at work. I'll be in touch with you and let you know how everything is going. :fing02:
I'll ask again, what are you talking about? That whole fight was fought on the inside, which was Bradley's doing. He did not use his legs a lot, that is literally being made up.
Man, I think you are embellishing.
the whole fight was not fought on the inside (that's not to say that they didn't fight on the inside), and bradley made good use of his legs.
Against Abregu, like I said, he wasn't as aggressive as he usually is, but for a 5'5" JWW fighting against a very big WW, he was still pretty aggressive.
damn, you must think potshotting is aggressive
nope. bradley used his legs a lot.
wtf were you watching???? I know it wasn't bradley/abregu cause bradley definitely wasn't coming foward the majority of the time

What are you talking about? He was ALL OVER Peterson.

He wasn't as aggressive as usual against Abregu but who can blame him with that size advantage. And he was still coming forward the majority of the time.

Seriously, he brought the fight to Peterson. I expect the same thing against Alexander because Alexander likes to get into brawls and he isn't winning most exchanges against Bradley.
bradley wasn't aggressive in his last 2 fights. he stopped being aggressive after the campbell fight.

People think because Bradley's not a huge puncher he's not aggressive.
Bradley is VERY aggressive, is almost always coming forward. Alexander comes to fight too.
I actually see this as a can't-miss fight in terms of action.

I expect it to be much like the Bradley-Alexander fight in a sense, where Bradley is clearly the more skilled guy, wins by a really comfortable margin, but Alexander will have moments where he shows how good he is in a loss.
Alexander will fight with his jab, as always, and Bradley will be weaving inside it and forcing exchanges inside, where he has an ridiculous advantage.

What are you expecting out of the Bradley-Alexander fight?
both guys might go into counterpunching mode. could be a boring.
I hope they don't do this. sometimes winning isn't as important and how you win. The winner of a boring fight is a boring fighter.
I think bradley will win rather easily , hell kendall holt was better imo and bradley beat him .
What ever happened to Holt anyway does he still fight :?j
i expect a dog fight, and if both these guys fight anything like their last fights, then i will go with bradley, he looked better and fought with more purpose than alexander did.
alexander having problems with kotelnik, if those still exist, they will be amplified against bradley, because bradley's pressure and will are way more dominant that kotelniks, and bradley will force to expose any and all faults he can in his opponents.
alexander is skilled as all hell but if he's having an off night, it can really bite him in the ass against a guy like bradley. alexander can easily win this fight, but his margin of error is small in against a guy like bradley, because he's going to make a guy fight and usually bradley gets the fight to be fought on his terms, alexander can do the same, but his style is more of a counter punching following style, as in make your opponent do something to counter, and when a guy who boxes like that fights a guy who is a banger like bradley, usually the counter punchers gets lulled into a fight that doesn't best suit him because they usually get lulled into standing and trading, which favors the fighter who leads...... most of the time.
i like this fight and i think it has the potential to be a classic.............
i like both fighters but im sticking to my guns and am picking and rooting for bradley...... nothing against alexander, but gotta stay true to the west coast boxing, especially out there by my family and friends in La Quinta...........
This would be a great fight. Alexander might tag Bradley in the first rounds but as the fight goes on Bradley takes over. This would be a battle of wills.
Dan Rafael tweeted that it might happen in Miami.
I expect a exciting chess match.
I'm hoping for a Mosley-De la hoya type mtch-up.
From a couple of checkers players?
I wouldn't count on it.
I'm looking forward to it, and im thinking Alexander will try and turn this into a bit of a brawl.... in my opinion thats his best way to win. But im not sure if he has the tactical awareness to do this, and i think he might give Bradley to much respect....
