He has more of a chance than Kneeguel Quitto. That's for sure. I dunno, margaCHEATo's talent was confiscated by the CSAC. The chin was cracked by Mosley and both Cotto and Mosley put him through hell. He deserves a beatdown...a bad one. Here's to hoping Pacquiao breaks him mercilessly.

As long as Tony starts off fast I think he has a pretty good chance.

This is going to be a good fight, and I think Manny's toughest in recent years, Tony is big and most importantly hungry to prove he's worthy of such opponent, People love to talk bad about boxers when they don't like them and this is the purpose of message boards but in reality cheat or no cheat, he's got a great chin and puts on relentless pressure on his opponents, we'll see if the pre-Mosely Tony shows up, if he does, he'll win.

tony needs to work on the body in the early rounds to slow down pac in the late rounds. from round 8 onwards the fight will be easy and roach won't have no choice but to throw in the towel. i hope pac will still be ok after this fight.

His got all the chance in the world If Mannypeds has chance with his shortself(ped), I know margarito will make him quit just like he did cotto, paquioa is not fighting someone weight-drain. Manny is going to work for this one, i dought that manny speed is going to be enough to win the fight. Clottley the humanninja turtle fought like he didn't want to fight. Cotto had three hard fights before face pac. not to mention the death of his father.

He certainly has a chance, everyone has a speed advantage over Margarito. If Tony is anything like he was pre-Mosley he has a good chance. I don't think Tony will be KO'd (not unless its a ref stoppage) If he fights like he did against Garcia then I expect a one sided battering but if he turns up the fighter he was against Cotto or even Mosley (which stylistically is a hard fight for Tony) then he should provide a war.

Roach has said himself he would not put any of his fighters in a ring if he knows they can't win. This will be a one sided fight, Manny's not Cotto - he's not going to get lazy and stay on the ropes and he has endless amount of stamina with blazing fast footwork. WHen Margarito attempts to throw one looping punch he's going to receive a swift 3-4 punch combination, I see his corner throwing in the towel 9th round. Guys coming forward is Manny's specialty.

Margo really isnt as slow as people are talking. Yea, he's not Manny fast, but im sure they have been working on hand speed and such to improve it as much as possible. I like to think that, since its a fight, he has a decent shot! But maybe im just hopeful for a good fight :/

I think he can, he pressures a fighter relentlessy and will throw punches..slow ones but they are enough to possibly to slow mannys attack down and maybe keep him on the back foot a little (i admit that sounds like bs too). But ignoring all boxing knowledge, i have one of those gut feelings that this maybe the fight that will be a shock win for Margarito. But saying that i had a "gut feeling" that Clottey would beat manny too.
