Other than sergio martinez, i dont know anybody in recent memory that gave him a close fight, yea he lost to quintana via deciscion on a brutal performance, then took the rematch seriously and ko'd him in 1 round. the guy fights at 147, 154, 160, i dont think there is 1 fighter that can beat him in any of those weights. does anyone else agree with me or am i crazy. The only thin gthat sux is that hes like Winky Wright a few years ago. Too good for his own good and not a big enough name to the general public. Basically meaning that he wont get a Mayweather or Pac fight bc nobody wants to mess with a 6 ft welter weight.
Then definitely as PWill is just going to be coming forward throwing 100 punches around hoping something happens, meanwhile he might get hurt by one of Pavlik's right hand shots.
Exactly, and this is why I wish this fight still happens. Similar height and physique, one throws punches in bunches, while the other throws fewer but packs a bigger punch. Too bad they seem to have abandoned the idea...
Well it was more due to Sergio coming in off balance not really an indicator of Kelly's power.
True, but I was referring to Pavlik's ability to hit Martinez. He should be able to tag Williams more easily.
I personally think Williams is on the slide. He has already peaked and is declining. Lets face it, he takes a lot of punches in his fights. Guys like that generally are not around for a long time. Playing with weight classes will not help him either. That is just extra wear and tear.
He might get refreshed, but as of right now, IMO he's vulnerable. In his last two fights, he has shown signs of either being gun shy or unable to pull the trigger.
Cintron was having a pretty good fight.. He rocked him pretty hard till that bullshit happened.. I'd give Cintron a good chance.. Floyd, Pac, maybe Cotto.. and Boxing GOD Carlos Quintana might be able to beat him again.. :werd:
Right now :
Martinez - beats him even worse than in the first fight (full camp)
Angulo - could possibly beat PW at his own game.
Dzinziruk - Quintana outboxed PW. Sergei took prime Santos and Julio shots without blinking. Razor schools him.
Pavlik - Still think Kelly would KO him.
Golovkin - decapitates him.
In 1-2 years:
Jacobs, N'jikam, Korobov could beat him if they live up to their potential. Maybe Lemieux.
Martinez and "top guys at 154" arent great forces either.
Burner,I guarantee U this,Pacman neither Floyd could beat the Punisher or Martinez, period!!If there are 2 elite fighters at 154,Martinez & Paul are them!!Just because Floyd & Pacman are superstars, doesn't mean they are the best fighters out there!!
He's beatable,by a lot of people!!They say Pacman can beat him,Floyd can beat him, hell they even say Cotto can beat him!!But I know the truth & here it is,Pacman would only fight him if he's the last fighter alive,Floyd wouldn't fight him if he were & Cotto would fight him if he had to!!
But on a serious note,Martinez gave him problems in their fight &the Punisher must rematch him!!If anybody really thinks that Pacman can beat him, maybe they should ask themselves why is he fighting Margarito for a 154 pound title instead of the Punisher??Real talk,I'll answer anyway,"because they know they can't beat him",end of story!!:boxing:
Martinez and "top guys at 154" arent great forces either.
Never said they were. But the TS pretty much said Paul Williams beats everyone from 147-160, with Sergio having the only chance of beating him, and that's just going too far.
Sergio, Floyd, top guys at 154 would have a chance, Pac would have a chance, Paul is far from some great force.
Martinez and "top guys at 154" arent great forces either.

Its cool tho because P. Will will be one of the top guys when Pac and May are gone....He's #4 p4p in my book
