Bernabe Concepcion is a longshot to beat Juanma. To the point of it not even being within the realm of reason for some people.
How big of an upset would it be if Concepcion scored the W??? Even if by as slim as a split decision victory?
I hope this doesn't happen:

i hope youre not comparing Luevano to Juanma when we saw him wear and beat him down.True concepcion is a natural featherweight but have you seen how juanma looks like a featherweight??yea he actually looks big too just like the rest of the natural ones.Concepcion has a punchers chance but hell get beat down too
Hell i'm filipino and even I'm not giving Abe a chance.
But if you look at it realistically Juanma's been hurt by Mtagwa. Abe hits much harder and also has better overall boxing ability than Mtagwa. And is the natural featherweight compared to Juanma. Should be interesting to see if Juanma can break down Concepcion or if Abe can impose his will.
I expect Juanma to win a clear cut decision, but if he does to Bernababe what he did to Luevano I would be real impressed.
Same could be said about Oscar delahoya. And yet the skills were undeniable.
The way I see it...if Concepcion pulls off the upset it wont be because Juanma underestimated him or that Juanma wasnt that good.
It'll be because Concepcion was the bigger, stronger, more natural featherweight that Juanma simply wasnt able to bulldoze the way he's done with every other opponent he's faced.
He does have that bulldozer style too. If Concepcion can keep him at a distance, he will be able to frustrate JuanMa. When everyone keeps telling you that you are unbeatable, you start to believe it at some point...that is a dangerous place to be, especially at the elite level where the slightest slip in training or underestimation of the other guy can cost you. Hoya did have skills as well but he lost to the best people that he faced for the most part..the elite guys. I just think that when people get put on a pedestal for too long, they slip when it counts

You mean featherweight?
I think JuanMa has skills but is severely hyped up and would not be surprised if he lost. He is active and fights well with both hands but I think he underestmates his opponents like Ortiz may have against Maidana due to the star everyone is making him out to be.
The guy looks more like a TV star than a pro boxer with that cheesy grin he is always putting up in front of the cameras...he is always in front of the cameras too- that stuff will go to his head one day...maybe Sat night.

Let me play devil's advocate here for a minute and say Juanma has been hurt by Mtagwa. A fighter with nowhere near as much punching power as Abe and doesnt have much of a jab.
I give Abe a hell of a chance to win .Like you said he has been hurt before and runs out of gas it goes beyond the 8th round i can see Abe knocking out Juanma you should have more support for your fighters.I dont see this being a upset either Abe is a good fighter that packs a punch it will be a good fight. If it goes to the scorecards he can kiss it goodbye.
i hope Abe doesn't get too fukked up...him winning would/should be upset of the year
i like Abe but the dude doesn't believe in using a jab...at the elite level, you get picked apart if you dont have that weapon

Big but I do give Concepcion a punchers chance.
Maybe if he comes out swinging wildly like Mtgawa and suckers Juanma into a street fight.
Between Concepcion and Juama, Abe is the more natural featherweight. It'd be interesting to see how the first 2 rounds plays out because Juanma may or may not be able to back up and breakdown Concepcion at all.

Juanma is a big deal in boxing... On paper & NSB, he's supposed to demolish Concepcion. Of course it's a huge upset if he gets beaten by Concepcion:boxing:
It would a HUGE upset. Nobody is giving Bernabe a chance. Respect to Abe if he can pull off the upset.
