Other then watching Foreman stretched out by Cotto this was very enjoyable. Green talks too much, way too much.
At least when Paulie talks he comes to fight.
When Floyd talks he dominates.
When Green talks he doesnt even show up. Bum.

I didn't like how ward was holding and hitting more than I dislike green
I was happy at first until I realized that Green was making a mockery of the Super 6 tourney. That actually pissed me off. I wonder if Green would have got past Bika if that deciding bout actually happened.
I wasnt happy, more dissapointed that Green fought so badly. There's nothing worse than a guy who talks loads of shit and then gets in there and doesnt even try to win. I dont think Green can beat Ward under any circumstances but it was like he was just there for a payday. Pretty dissapointing they put him in the tournament instead of guys like Bute, Andrade or Bika. All of these guys have better resume's than Green and they all come to fight and to win.
You are right on that brav,Sakio Bika would have given anyone real challenges and something to think about. How Green came into this competition still makes me wonder
If he felt so weak then why was he talking all that shit the day before the fight? In the post fight interview he said at the weigh-in his legs were shaky and he was weak...But then what's with all the barking then? Next time when you're weak say it before the fight that you think you're going to lose because you feel weak, not bark before then full of excuses after.
I was pretty happy to watch the fight. I had the opportunity to check out Ward-Kessler last year in Oakland to see SOG live. If you like technical boxing, you'd enjoy this fight. Ward really shows his ametuer experience by staying tight, shooting short quick punches, and minimizing his opportunity to get hit.
What was so impressive in this fight was that Ward took the fight to Green, which was very unexpected. He beat him up on the inside when Ward is really known for being a boxer that moves around. But like he said before the Kessler fight, he is making that transition from boxer to fighter.
Bottom line, I thought the fight was great, if you have followed Ward's career, you'd realize he has come a long way. Its no surprise that a man like Froch with very little technical ability could not appreciate Ward-Green. He has a point about action, but I felt that this fight was truly one a boxing fan would appreciate.
i liked the damn fight.....
i ended up rooting for him considering all that ward holding.
in the end, green ended up doing more holding than ward did. the guy landed as many punches as green threw, basically.
I enjoyed his performance. Maybe not so much on the action side but Ward really showcased his talent and skill - also showed hes a step above everybody in the s6. Nice to see young hard working boxers put in work to get their goal and be HUMBLE about it. Great performance. Def p4p top soon.

I was a little sad. Turns out Green is just more bark than bite. I figured he'd lose but not without a fight. Eh. But then I was overcome with joy watching Ward show off his talent.

I actually felt pity for the guy.I havent watched him fighting a lot but watching him getting beaten wasnt really entertaining. His mom was in the crowd and I wonder how she felt.If I had been following the press conference maybe I would have enjoyed it.I just have a feeling that Green is overmatched in this competition and is in hard way of making a living.
All i saw was the first round, after that i played PS3
Honestly i couldnt watch the fight, i just tuned in for the scorecards and the interviews
It was once of the worst style fights i have ever seen
