So you're saying there would be less than 10 punches per round since both guys hate to initiate. Clottey is also a counter puncher and we know for a fact that he doesn't change his style up for anyone. Also, can Mayweather hurt Clottey? i dont think floyd can hurt him badly, but he does hit hard enough to earn clotteys respect. i wouldnt say floyd hates to initiate, he can lead when he has to or he could lure clottey in and make him open up. eighter way he outboxes him fairly easily. it wouldnt be hearns-hagler but it wouldnt be taylor-spinks eighter. both fighters would be more aggressive then we are used to seing imo.

Haha. I'm pretty sure Floyd would find a way. It's not like Clottey is a great fighter. He's not a great fighter. He's a great turtle since he shells up for 95% of the fight. Floyd hates to initiate. Clottey hates to initiate. The punch count would be horrendous.

Is that a joke ? :guilty: No. Unless Floyd becomes an offensive beast, he just gets a UD, for landing 3 out of 10 punches per round. I think the amount of punches thrown in the entire fight would be under triple digits for both fighters.

Are you kidding me? Clottey/Mayweather would be world war III compared to Joshua Clottey vs. Cory Spinks. At least Spinks actually tries to win the fight... most of the time. Clottey won't throw unless it's 1. to counter or 2. to feint.

Clottey will throw more cuz I think Floyd will be stationary like he was against SSM... Mayweather-Spinks could be VERY boring...or Mayweather-Wright at 154... Clottey doesn't change up his style. He fights the same way in EVERY fight.
