Is this how Pac does business, he only accepts offers when they are long off the table? Like another poster said this is the only reason Pac is accepting the 14 day cut off, because he know's its no longer an option. Team Pac are just trying to use this Mayweather Negotiation as a means to setup a fight with Margarito in Dallas.
It worked for the Clottey fight so they figure they'll try it again for Plasterito.
I mean to Manny Pacquiao How Can you accept an offer thats not on the table? Floyd has offered no cut off date and no 50/50, accept that m#hf@ker!!!
easy question to answer....
floyd feels that he made concessions 4 months ago (regarding the split & accepting their weight clause), and they killed the fight b/c he asked for testing, then lied about "not receiving" his 14-day stipulation, which arum finally admitted they received, but he never told manny about it.
floyd felt he was made to look like the bad guy, even though he was the one who made most of the concessions.....
floyd stated already that he did enough before by giving in, and if his ppv did better numbers than pac's, he would demand more this time around....
seriously, why do you think top rank now want the old deal so badly?
So basically hes willing to turn down a possible career high payday because hes a diva?
lmao at these pactards..all they can say is"fighter of the decade"lol
And how is Pac fighter of the decade? Within the last ten years we've had real champs. Besides Floyd, Tyson, Roy Jones, Forrest, Gatti, Chico Corales vs Castilo (best fight of the decade). How do they by past fighters like that and give it to manny? A fighter who has lost within the last 10 years and out boxed twice by marquez??? Who he beat? Oh hatton & oscar after floyd? And cotto after margarito destroyed him first...give me a break!
I love how flomos speak for their man as if they know every thought that goes through his head.
I'mma laugh my ass off after this fight is signed and all these Flomos "stickin up for their man" threads get bumped.
Why is not not good enough for Floyd now since it was only 4months ago? It goes both way and both sets of nuthuggers are equally retarded. Anyone who said Pac was ducking because he wouldnt agree to 14 days should be saying Floyd is ducking now for not agreeing to 14 days, anyone who says Floyd is ducking now for not accepting 14 days have to say Manny was ducking then.

If Pac can do 14 days - now cured of whatever ailed him - he can do full, uncompromised Olympic Style Drug Testing. Man up, Manolo!
I would be for that 100%, but I also wouldnt mind if Floyd took a couple more swallows of whatever Crunk Juice he was sippin 4 months ago that made him think 14 days was ok.
And Floyd compromised to 50/50 and a 14 day cut off date because of Pac's slightly better numbers vs Cotto and that still wasn't good enough for Pac who felt that he called the shots. He called his way straight to Clottey and from there ruined his chance to dictate to Floyd Mayweather.
According to you the P4P #1 and clear cash cow DOES call all the shots. So even though Manny called the shots he still agreed to 50/50 and even though he wanted no OST he agreed to a 24 day cutoff, but Floyd wouldnt do it. Floyd was unable to realize he didnt call the shots and ruined the fight according to your rationalization anyway.
Mayweather doing > 1M PPV buys against Marquez is far more impressive than Pacquiao doing 1.2M PPV buys against Cotto.
So no, that was not a "better" PPV, in terms of expectations.
The only FAIR comparison is Mayweather vs Mosley and Pacquiao vs Cotto. Mayweather sold 16% more PPVs.
Umm if we're doing PPVs in terms of expectations Mayweather-Mosley was the biggest flop of the entire bunch. A 3-4mil expectation and only 1.4 is horrible if thats the way you wanna look at it.
PAC unofficially lost like 5 fights this past decade draws losses outboxed . How many times did that happen to Floyd ?? F. O. D . Don't meen spit bunch of guys opinions just like on this forum no different

Pac don't need floyd to negotiate against Margarito. He will get everything he wants regardless in that fight. If Floyd aint scared just call the mans bluff if he thinks it is a bluff.

Right whatever cured him he should keep taking it all the way till he's no cutoff date free.
Until OSTs are common place the issue most definitely requires compromise. Since Floyd is coming off the better PPV and holds the cards does that mean Mayweather was in the wrong 4months ago since Pac was coming off a better PPV against Cotto? Is that your stance? Because I dont understand the latter part of your statement

I got ya then. Pac was those things during the last negotiations so he should have been calling all the shots. Mayweather ducked him 4 months ago and now Manny is ducking Floyd thats your point, right?

So Pac is willing to compromise while Floyd isnt, you're not making a great argument for Floyd wanting the fight. Also I would be tickled pink if you could tell me who my boy is exactly. I have no bias here as I dont feel the need to idolize any man just because he boxes well. If 14 days was good enough for Floyd 4months ago and Pac is willing to accept that now there is no reason for this fight not to be made on the flip side if Pac is willing now there is no reason for the fight not to have been made 4 months ago.

I'm saying when you are the clear cash king, the #1 Welterweight, and the newly established P4P #1, you call the shots. All Floyd wanted was OST and he's not going to back off of it. Moral of the story, he should of took the offer when he had the chance, Floyd has even more leverage now than he had before and no one can dispute that. If Floyd thinks 14 days allows Pac a window to cheat and he insists on closing that window, then thats too bad for Pac, accept it or call Plasterito.

U think Pac deserves 50/50 and a cut off date, I dont, why should Floyd compromise on an issue that doesn't require compromise? Had Pac just beat Mosley and sold 1.4 Million PPV then Floyd woudn't have much of a leg to stand on would he?

You just explain to me how Pac can accept something that hasn't been offered, last I checked Floyd said no cut off date and no 50/50, that there is the offer, now can you tell your boy to accept that?

Personally, I've always believed the 14 day cutoff was far too much. I'm one of the few who cares more about the testing than the actual fight. It's past due, I want the integrity of the sport secured.
