Bad match up for Wlad.
Wlad UDs the old, fat version, but gets KO'd by the prime beast that destroyed Frazier and Norton.
Though there's no shame in that TBH.
This fight would be a joke. If Wlad lasted more than 1 min against a prime Foreman I'd be shocked. That glass chin would be shattered in an instant.
Now a much better fight would be Vitaly vs Big George.
if wlad could somehow keep foreman away he could outpoint him. i just can't imagine george not landing big over 12 rounds and especially not 15. all the boxing skill in the world can't save wlad's chin from one of foreman's bombs. horrible matchup for wlad.
vitali would be a much better fight. he's not afraid to scrap, he's got the stamina to do it and imo he can handle anyone's punches. neither man has atg handspeed. vitali can counter a little bit and can keep his distance as well as anyone, but no one can cut off the ring like foreman. both guys are great at what they do so i see it as a little bit of an even fight. vitali's output would be what really carries him imo. if they fought in the same era i could see it being a trilogy of brutal wars. i'm not sure who i think would get the better of it, but vitali's a smarter fighter than young foreman was. i think he could do it.
you should be ashamed even comparing sam peter to george forman,,,foreman bounced fukking joe frazier all across the ring...what elite fighter had peter ever done like that??
Easy cheesey. It was not a direct comparison. George Foreman had insane power. Peter was supposed to have feared power as well. That's ALL I was comparing. Not skill, style or heart.
It would be very competetive. Wlad would try to get a boring security jabfest - Wlad would be afraid of those bombs. If Foreman could pressure Wlad enough to break through the jab, Foreman could destroy Wlad. Wlad is a very skilled fighter with enough pop to keep even Big George at bay. But not for 12 rounds.
I assume, of ten bouts, about 6-7 would go to Foreman. So I voted for Big George.
George would destroy him. George would get through his jab and then it would be over.
I like Wladimir. I follow his fights and I am glad he is champion, but George is a monster. I do not think Wladimir would be able to win...however, he did perform rather well against Sam Peter in 2005. He even buckled Peter's legs.
