I wouldn't say it was the worst 24/7, that has to go to Floyd/Marquez or Calzaghe/Jones, but Floyd's "Money" demeanor is beginning to get tiring. I liked it when Floyd was just being himself, especially with his kids. When "Money" says, "I'm in the check cashing business," for the nth time, it's beginning to get a little boring.
I thought it was entertaining, nothing amazing.
I do wish they get more into the training, and the psychological part of the fighters preperation.
It seems they won't show anything except Floyds ab workout and combination drills, and Mosleys 4 piece combos.
I thought the whole idea of this show was to show what the fighters go through, that's what I would like to see.
WTF is Pacquiao's personnality? "Errrr i go to pray to the church ehhhhhhh i am famous in errr duhhh my country. "( blah blah Pacquiao loves his mother,etc..)
Pacquiao is the one who has no personnality, he needs his coach for 24/7 and for trash talking.
Cotto actually has more charisma and beat up his uncle; Pacquiao couldn't beat up Freddie Roach.
The worst 24/7 was DLH VS Pacquiao, it was shit. Then Pacquiao VS Cotto. The best was DLH VS Mayweather.
The mosley was good.
Co-sign........:boxing:
I thought it was good, but I think 3 episodes should be be enough there's not really enough good material to ocver 4 shows with especially with quiet fighters like shane.
Calzaghe-Jones 24/7, Delahoya-Pacquiao 24/7, Pacquiao-Hatton 24/7, Pacquiao-Cotto 24/7, Mayweather-Mosley 24/7, a case can be made for all these. Just the whole show really is getting really played out, IMO its time has run out unless they do some thing different. Slow motion scenes with dramatic music playing in the back ground, especially every shows last 2 minutes where they play the same type of music with the finishing words of philosophy. Its just all getting played out.
RJJ-Calzaghe and Pac-Cotto 24/7 sucked the most in my opinion. I didn't even get to see Pac-Hatton 24/7 because that was the time my illegal sattelite got killed, and I had to switch to Comcast lol but I heard that one sucked too.
Mayweather-Mosley wasn't bad. Naazim made it very interesting. Its probably better than the three I mentioned above.
Pacquiao/Hatton was amongst the worst. Mosley v Mayweather was mostly boring.
DLH/Mayweather and Hatton/Mayweather were the greatest.
I agree, Mayweather was simply boring in this last 24/7. His cocky antics are played out by now. Same old shit, different 24/7.
I think Pac - Cotto was the dullest, but I don't think any series really ever recaptured the magic of DLH - Mayweather or Hatton - Mayweather
Agree.
I was really pumped for Pac-Cotto as a huge Cotto fan. I was looking forward to that for months.
That being said, the 24/7 was incredibly boring. I did not even watch the 4th episode. For me, that says something.
I've found this 24/7 pretty interesting.
Pac-Cotto was the worst. Second worst wwould have been May-Marquez until Marq drank his own pee. That immediately made it memorable. Best was Ricky-Floyd. That one was way too entertaining and funny.
It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't like the fight needed to much promotion. Obviously a Pac Mayweather one would be way more interesting to see how Manny would deal with FLoyd shit talking.
I disagree. In order for it to be really good, both fighters must be able to speak good english, and entertain, and be controversial, and funny.
Or it must be full of drama and interesting things that happen in the show..
This last one lacked somewhat.
I think this one was the worst. Nazim did more than his fighter. This shows why Shane never had a fan base, the guy is just a blob. He does absolutely nothing.
spot on..
it just shows that the best way to capture people's imagination or make them interested in you, is to have a really loud mouth.regardless of how good you are..or crap you are.
ALA mundine, and mayweather..
I thought Pac-Cotto was horrid, I think HBO agreed, its no wonder he only got 1 Countdown episode for Pac-Clottey, and its Clottey who proved to be more interesting on that!!
Where does the Mosley Mayweather 24/7 rank among 24/7s? This most recent series seemed to be the most dull of them all.
not really that great.
cotto/pac was pathetic.
It seems as though 24/7 wasn't as good as I thought it would be.
It started off pretty good, with floyd/oscar, and peaked with floyd/hatton.
that for me was the best series.
now it is just doing downhill or stagnant.
all three of the pac 24/7 series sucked to me---he can't even speak good english----it doesn't matter how you look at it---the worst 24/7 was pac/cotto---even more than cal/jones jr---i mean, the 24/7's with mayweather didn't win emmy's for nothing---this 24/7, if it wasn't like any other 24/7's floyd was in, it was because of how dull shane was, not floyd--yes, floyd talks about money, but his jokes about shane were priceless---the hot tub time maching line should be nominated for an emmy in itself---lol---the avatar and nose job and jeri curl and st. patrick's day suit jokes were hilarious---floyd stole the show once again----he'll show up tonight and stop the show once again, and manny pac will duck floyd once again---and i hope manny proves me wrong---
