Haye, both are quick but tyson had more muscle to throw around, haye really is electric. but tyson would ko his ass in 1 round
he is asking who is faster not who will ko each other first... u dum yank fuk
:bottle:
in every category its tyson by far. handspeed, footspeed, reflexes, upperbody movement.. tyson was way faster than haye.
haye isnt even that fast, its just compared to todays HWs. most HWs today are bums and the ones who arent are around 250lbs, so naturally haye is gonna look fast by comparison.
compare haye to the HWs of the 90s and hes not impressive at all, he wouldnt make it into the top10 back then much less win a world title. both his power and his speed is overrated, he wasnt that fast a CW and after bulking up hes much slower. its just that the HW division is so weak he looks pretty decent and even won himself a title.
I know haye hasn't been at heavy long but i think he's as fast as tyson? Am i right or wrong?
Tyson in my opinion. His defense and his offense, damn he was quick.
Tyson easily.
Tyson was an extremely fast Hw, only peak, 210 lb Ali could even come close to Tysons speed. Tyson didn't just have hand speed either, he had everything speed.
Larry Holmes in his prime get's a nod as well.
Haye, both are quick but tyson had more muscle to throw around, haye really is electric. but tyson would ko his ass in 1 round
Wrong. Tyson was a natural heavyweight. His body at age 16 was every heavyweights dream.
"Unnatural" heavyweights, like Frank Bruno and David Haye will never be as quick as a guy like Tyson, because Tyson is NATURAL. He did not do any weight training AT ALL in his prime. He did calisthenics, running and boxing and the incredible body you saw in the ring was a result. Not many people can look like that without weight training. He was never shredded like Haye.
David Haye is throwing around MUCH more unnatural muscle in the ring.
Weightlifting destroys fast twitch muscle tissue and slows reflexes - Roy Jones rise to heavyweight is a prime example - he lost all of his speed and reflexes.
And I can not understand how anybody could think that Haye is faster at bobbing and weaving, or has faster hand speed. I can only guess that anybody who believes this has never seen any Mike Tyson film.
He was the fastest heavyweight of all time, although guys like Jack Dempsey were incredibly fast and fought at heavyweight, Dempsey never fought over 188 if I recall correctly.
Tyson by landslide.
Tyson. by far for me.
a video was posted here once, dont remember wich fight but damn, you couldnt see his punches only hear them lik, pa,pa,pa,pa,pa,pa. sick combination. in an actual fight, not in training.
Tyson easily. Haye's handspeed is so overrated. at Gavin Evans claiming that Haye was the fastest HW since prime Ali. Haye has good handspeed with single punches, particularly his right hand. His combination punching is not fast nor fluid.
Byrd was faster. Tubbs was faster. Dokes was faster. Holyfield was faster.
Watch Haye throw a combination and then watch an early 90s Morrison throw a combination and talk about Haye's amazing handspeed.
Wlad's punches are faster than Haye's wild looping amatuerish punches.
Tommy Brooks trained Wlad and Tyson. He said "Wladimir has faster hands than Tyson."
Freddie Roach, Tommy Brooks, Emanuel Steward, George Foreman, etc all said Wlad hits harder than Tyson.
"Wladimir Klitschko is the hardest puncher I have seen in the last 30 years." --George Foreman
"Wladimir is the hardest puncher I have ever trained."-- Manny Stewardthe question was related to tyson and haye, why do you always have to reference everything to wladimir? seriously do you ever get tired of your own cheerleading, how old are you? this is the internet buddy, someone here writes some bs about your fighter you pop into the thread and write a 1000 word paragraph on how Klitschkos are the best thing since sliced bread. this is no flame, but you bud are a cheerleader whose bitching is irritable to say the least.
now go ahead and give me one of your best insults, and dont forget to throw in the douglas, lewis, holyfield and all that other blabber....blah blah blah, we all know that's all that your infant brain is capable of

They all try to discredit Tyson, Tyson may have smoked his green but back in his era heavyweight were not genetically manufactured as they have been in recent years. With the exceptions of the Russians the heavyweight division has been in ruins since the mid 90's.

Yeah Tyson was amazingly fast and he was accurate as well. Smaller boxers tend to be faster and at 5'10 with tree trunk legs verse the well built chest and arms of Haye at 6'3 makes Tyson the faster more impactful puncher.
