Where is Freddie Roach, Eddie Mustafa Muhammad, Nazim Richardson, Floyd Mayweather Sr, etc?
No wonder a lot of these heavyweights lack word class caliber skills. A lot of these heavyweights don't have a good team or a solid trainer.
I know Floyd Mayweather Sr. would be blasting Chris Arreola.
Good point. Arreola's trainer is about his age, obviously not fit to be training a fighter in Arreola's stage of his career. Maybe that's why he is so fat. World class trainers would set him straight.
And when did they ever? There are only a handful of trainers who specialised on heavies and most of them are either dead or too old.
I would like to see Eddie Mustafah Muhammad working with Eddie Chambers.
Teddy Atlas is training Povetkin and Emmanuel Steward is traing Klitschko(or however you spell it)
I wouldn't call Atlus a top trainer, but at least he's making sure Povetkin is disciplined, something most heavyweight trainers do not do.
I was going to say that Freddie Roach trains Lateef Kayode, an 11(10)-0 prospect from Nigeria, but it looks like he's fighting at CW these days.
