If the fight is competitve AT ALL, and Pac negotiations fall through again... which they will.. I see it happening.
Especially if it does a round 1.5 Million PPVS
Floyd could just fight Mosley again, make similar numbers.. maybe a little less 1.2 or something.
I see this being very possible.
And of course Mosley would sign right up no questions asked.
I sense that the thread title question will be a bait for another DUCKING issue on FMJ again...
No bait at all... IDK even know how that would lead to a bait..
whether the rematch was worth it is irrelevant to floyd. "money" is the bottom line. and if it's the sole deciding factor on a mosley rematch i dont think it's happening. Dude turned down a delahoya rematch which would have been a career high payday for him at the time.
Oscar _ DLH II would NOT have out sold the first fight.. Id say about HALF the people that bought the first one would not be duped into doing it again.
lol @ one of the tags.
I doubt these two would share the same squared circle after their fight.
Pac-Mosley anyone?
Someone obviously has an obsessive problem with me, and adds that tags to a lot my threads. What I find REALLY funny is they don't have the balls to man up to it.
if shane KTFOs floyd & the ppv & fight is a success, floyd will take his money & retire & never be heard from again.
Yeah, probably not.
I can't see the first fight taking place..floyd is gonna sustain some kind of "injury" or he'll claim shane is not taking his pee tests or floyd will be on his period the night before and is having cramps..he'll probably request shane not use his walker to get to the ring. he is one of the most cowardly "boxers" ever. the number of fights he's either called off or not taken is ridiculous. (margarito, cotto, pacman, harris et al) and the big name guys he fought were either past there prime (baldomir, gatti, de la hoya) or he demanded they come up in weight (36 yr old marquez 2 weight classes from lightweight to welter and hatton) oh and the guy he's fighting next, 38 yr old mosley, he had ducked for years when mosley was in his prime. even though mosley won his last fight impressively over margarito who had a long layoff since he's still 39 and way too slow and floyd knows it. of the guys who were at the top and in there prime they were mostly "mandatory" fights. if i'm not mistaking he gave up his belt before instead of fighting a mandatory fight...correct me if i'm wrong..
Well if Shane is able to drop Floyd or make it somewhat competitive, which I doubt, then yeah. I expect Shane to win 2 rounds max and eat a lot of leather in the second half of the fight.
Everyone involve would try to make the fight looks closer just to leave the rematch chance open like they try to do with the "SD" between oscar and floyd.
I think Oscar did better against Floyd than Shane will.

Floyd will win and there won´t be a rematch...ti gives and edge to the opponent to adapt the strategy.
Only if Pac is not going to be made, which I think is already in the making and hyping.

It could easily happean, I still think Manny has got the edge because that is more money but if the Mayweather-Mosley fight is real competitive there is almost no way they don't go again just because it would be so easy to make.
If Manny does't go through that is EXACTLY what will happen.
Well a lot of manny fans on here are lying to themselves, They think Mosley would rather fight Pacquiao if he wins instead of fighting Mayweather again...Firstly there is the issue of a rematch clause in the contract and secondly Mayweather brings more money to the table for Mosley and finally wouldnt ask Mosley for a fight at 144 or 146 for with the belt on the line.
If it's a close fight then maybe it will. But if it's decisive and Mayweather Vs. Pac doesn't happen then i think it could be Pac Vs. Mosley and Mayweather Vs. Berto or the Cotto/Foreman winner.
Though it could be any variation for Pac and Mayweather, but i can see Berto and the Cotto/Foreman winner being targets for both. Though there have been talks about Valero for Pac.

i cant see a rematch happening, depends on how close the fight is yes but i cant see it
If its competitive at all I can see it. I have a feeling Mosley will win about 2 rounds early and then get shut out tho. I wouldnt pay for a rematch of that.

Yea but Floyd-Oscar was decisive also and that shit almost had a rematch. Cuz of Golden boy and there fucking judges....
Hard to turn down a huge payday, even if it's irrelevant. But at the end of the day, I just don't see it, just like Oscar Floyd II didn't happen. May just move to Berto.
Also, money is money to him.

100% agreed, Everyone involve in the fight on May the 1st would rather do it again if Mosley wins than fight someone else because fighting Mayweather bring in more money for them than fighting anyone else.
He's only had 1 rematch because he's only had 1 fight worth a rematch, when he was injured against Castillo. And I don't think people will want to see Floyd Shane II. The first fight will be decisive enough.
