in hindsight the hopkins win would be the best but at the time lacy was a guy who was meant to destroy calzaghe,experts and fans alike thought it was going to happen,instead it was a one-sided beatdown in favour of JC

i think lacy, i didn't pay too much attention to calzaghe until that lacy fight, it was domination.. best for audience imo his best fights (because tougher opponents) would be kessler/bhop/eubank tho

Best win on Joe's ledger is Hopkins. Old or not, he's an ATG who held the LHW crown and was still regarded as elite. Best win in terms of performance is Lacy. He was expected to be destroyed and instead turned in one of the most thorough schoolings ever.
