I'd take Morales. Marquez was clearly the better boxer, but Morales had the kind of aggressive style that would force Marquez to trade (and judging by his past history, he'd probably be more than willing) and Morales was too good ( and hit too hard) up close. Also, Morales had boxing skill as well.
Why do you think JMM is still fighting at 37 and Morales was done at 30???
cause morales fights like a warrior and jmm at 126 fought like an accountant.
Marquez counterpunches Morales to death.
Morales is not a slick boxer, like a Chris John, you paint him out to be. Morales loves to fight! and you know what happens to fighters who come forward to Juan Manuel.
JMM by UD. Wide!
marquez fans are delusional.
the rest of the marquez votes are morons who don't know shit.
You know what? Fukk off. You act like some martyred cool-guy, but you're just another loudmouth adding to the din.
he only got a draw because of a judge's admitted scoring error.
that's a gift.
But you have to admit all three of those judges were retarded...There's absolutely no way Marquez won 115-110 (that would mean he won 10 rounds, which was impossible because Pac clearly won rounds 1, 2 and 7) and there's no way Pacquiao won 115-110 either because Marquez won most of the rounds. I scored it 113-112 in favor of Marquez, or 8 rounds to 4.
But I don't get why Morales avoided Marquez for so long...It would have been a great fight that could have went either way.
marquez by decision? LMAO
stupid asses.
a prime marquez gets lucky to get a draw against the same pacquiao a past it morales beat decisively.
triangle theory doesn't always apply but that just shows you how SUPERIOR morales is to marquez.
the guy lost to freddie norwood and chris john and he's gonna beat a prime morales?
please........ what a joke.
That wasn't a gift draw. I scored it 8 rounds to 4. Although I don't know what the heck happened in the Chris John fight...He was off to a very slow start, but came back towards the end. I think that fight could have gone either way.
