This is what I just posted in another thread. Seems to apply here, as well :
Were PBF to beat Mosely, I'd give him credit for beating the best available welter, but that doesn't change the fact that Mosely is 38 years old. Doesn't change that I'd pick a prime De La Hoya or any number of earlier welters to beat him. It might just be that PBF has blown his chance at being a top ten ATG by his aversion to risk earlier in his career. Sorry. There just may not be the competition around anymore or on the near term horizon for him to max out his legacy...
Floyd has 5 stoppages in 13 fights above 130 lbs.
Does anyone in their right mind think he's going to stop a guy like Mosley, who has never been stopped and has been in with much bigger hitters than Floyd?
Hell Floyd couldn't even stop little Marquez.
I'd expect Floyd to win a decision against the old, inactive Shane, but then he's actually have to grow a pair and take the fight first.
When the Mayweather-Mosley takes place and Mayweather KO's Mosley then whats the most logical next option for Floyd?:boxing:
What if Mosley KO's Floyd? What will he do then? :boxing:

Hey! the fight aint gonna happen mate,Floyd aint fighti'n shane coz he is not a draw.he pick nate campbell for his highly anticipated exhibition of his skill dude, floyd is a coward you know that.C-O-W-A-R-D!
gayweather KO's mosley?? LOL.. if ever the fight will get made, which i think it wont, mosley will destroy floydie. after the fight floydie would certainly be brought to the hospital due to swollen face, multiple cuts and blood clots, dislocated jaw, broken ribs, and a cracked skull. fraud would never ever face shane
Floyd is the best technical boxer in the world with KO power and pin point accuracy so to make your assumption isn't logical at all. Floyd is going to make a statement in this fight. He could have KO'd Marquez but wanted to put on a show and give the fans there money worth.:boxing:
Who has Floyd knocked out that makes you think he has the power to knock out Shane? Hatton? He doesnt have Shanes chin, he is basically inferior to Shane in every aspect. He got Tkos against Gatti, Mitchell, and Bruseles, but two of them were never A level fighters anyway, and they were not ever seriously hurt by one punch, they just took so many that the fight was stopped. Floyd hasnt been a dangerous puncher since the days of 130-135. Floyd will likely win by decision but he aint knocking out Shane. Too many fans in all sports vote with their hearts instead of the heads.

You got a better shot a seeing a sequel to Passion of the Christ than seeing Floyd KO Mosley, but Floyd could possibly win.
If you call boxing boring, then you don't love the sport or its art. Its an art, not a brawl. Its called the sweet science, not the brawl science. KO's aren't everything. :boxing:
So why make a thread about it? Moron.
so by winning a boring ud thats giving the fans their money worth

Floyd "the Steroid" Mayweather
That's what I'd say!
Mosley has never been stopped and Floyd couldn't even KO a bloated Lightweight!
Realistically Floyd has a 0.00001% chance of KOing Mosley.

If and only if that ever happens (both the fight and KO), then PBF is trapped. Or that would give him the balls to fight Pac.
LOL, Royin, Essien and Vet420.:cool2:
