Aftre literally years of playing with the idea Ive decided Im going to get serious about boxing.
Im 5-9. And I just weighed myself Im 216 Pounds.
I have an athletic build. I played football and ran sprints in college. Running Back. I was always explosive and fast. I have muscle mass. I have great footwork. Thx to football.I have great reflexes. Thx to football. Dont know how good my chin is though..lol We'll see right...lol.
Im not a new comer to boxing. Ive been in an out of gyms since I was like 10 because of my dad forcing me..lol. I never really made it first in my life because Football was my first love.
Im at 216 now. I want to get down to 154 Pounds. Which wont be hard I have a crazy metabolism. I effed around a year ago and weighed 166 when I got off the heavy protein Diet and supplements I was on, running track, sprint events helped a bunch too. Its alot of weight but Its not hard for me. (Not bragging.)
Theres alot of good gyms in Michigan as well. Tommy Hearns is a great frined of my aunts and Ive been to house a couple times. The Kronk Gym was destroyed but Manny has been trying to get cash to build one in Dearborn, MI. I need to see how thats going. One of his fighters goes to my church.
I turned 23 years old in September.
My reach is measured at 74 inches.
I been dancing around the idea for a while now. Im already a great athlete. Hopefully with some sound training I can become a good boxer. I kow the basics. But I'll begin Training Feb 1st.
A fighter I would compare myself too is a Andre Berto type of style but on my toes alot more.
Wish me luck.

goodluck bro....
seriously, PBF might want to fight you in the future if fight with Matthew Hatton or Saul Alvarez does not push through
I d take a blood test every round to fight Mayweather.
Even if you know you could make 160 easy you're going to come to a point where you plateau and can no longer lose anymore weight without affecting your performance.
It would be wise to start off 1 or 2 fights at about 160 and once you get used to the routine after a couple of training camps then re-evaluate and see if you can make 154 safely.
Yeah this makes sense. I don't mind being a middle weight.
Yeah lowest I been was 166. I still had a gut too..lol..I know for a fact I can hit 160 easy.
154 would be HARD WORK.
Middlewight is good too.

Don't loose too much weight just because your not tall. Look at James Toney and countless others. Good luck, it will take allot of hard work, and determination to say the least.
good luck mate all the best
make sure you let us guys know how things are coming along
Good luck on your training and your health. :boxing:
Thanks fellas. Appreciate it.
good luck bro. i assume even though u say u want to become a pro boxer u are smart enough to atleast have 20 or so amateur fights (atleast) first. even guys who were in desperate need of cash when they started fighting had atleast 20 fights in the amateur ranks first, its just common sense. again good luck.
I agree 110%. Im definetly going the AM route.
Maybe if you get good enough you can fight P.Will...
Not too many else want to.
:lol1:
I will surely duck Williams like everyone else. I aint fighting that dude. LMAO.

Why not just play it safe and go to 175?
it would be pretty dangerous for you to get all the way down to 154. I'd say you could safely get down to 160 without any detrimental effects on your health.

t isut its not that hard. Im really on an insane bulking diet and my favorite supplements: Glycergrow and Creatine that shit swells you up but when you get off it you lose alot of weight.
Its used to draw nutrients into your muscles while lifting weights. When you get off.. you shrink...lol.
62 pounds is still a lot, though.
LOL.
You can probably do it, just make sure you post your fights...
