I can see him fighting someone who doesn't really pose a threat to him because it would jeopardize a rematch with Darchinyan, but why not fight someone with a name?
Why not fight?

Are you gonna blame Donaire for that?
Every in-ring post-fight interview, Donaire always sneaks in his wishes of who he wants to fight. Have you heard from those fighters that he has called out ?
No I'm not gonna blame Donaire for that, but I'm not going to say he was ducked either because a fighter can't make weight.
It's different then just calling out fighters. At flyweight Donaire called out Naito and Sakata (when he was the champ). Japanese fighters aren't allowed to fight for the IBF/WBO. They don't. They never view it as a legit title and they don't fight for it.
That is not ducking.
FWIW I actually like Donaire but think of my comments as me saying something that needs to be said to Nonito. He has the talent and is in his prime. All I want is for him to step up and face top guys instead of bums. Don't give me that ducking Sh!T either because there are a ton of guys in the lower classes that will fight anyone.
Hasegawa is looking for a reason to come to america. For damn sure he is not afraid on Nonito Donaire
Also these guys also will fight anyone
Yohhny Perez
Nehomar Cermeno
Anselmo Moreno
Joseph Agbecko
Those are all guys at 118lbs. Donaire has 1 fight at 115lbs. He tried to get a unification bout with Naito at 112lbs but the japs only recognize the WBC and WBA belts. And if Donaire gave up his IBF belt he would have had to fight a couple of title eliminators first before becoming a mandatory.
He tried to get a match with Montiel, Arce and a rematch with Darchinyan at 115lbs. Arce has been on a slide and Both Montiel and Arce vacated their belts to move up to 118
I like Donaire but he is still riding on the Darchinyan win. He doesnt have any good names on his resume since. I was hoping for him to face Hasegawa or any top fighters at Super flyweight.
I doubt Hasegawa v Donaire will happen anytime soon.
It appears Hasegawa will move up soon, looking to fight at both junior featherweight and featherweight.
He has, and even mentioned of going to Japan if need be. I think it would be a dumb move on Nonito's part though. The Japanese have no shame when it comes to robbin' foreign fighters.
I wouldnt say that, look at how many defenses Wongjongkam had out there with little to no issue. This is the case for alot of countries, but i wouldnt say japan is some home to robberies.
The $$$ has to be right, though. Trust me, Hasegawa is fine where he's at, unless he can be offered more cash than he'll ever make in his own country.
It ain't Nonito's fault that the biggest names in his division have not stepped up, Arce and Montiel !!
Nope...Hasegawa wants to come to the US for name recognition world wide. I'm not saying he will come and fight a top fighter for peanuts (who would ?), but he is willing to sacrifice the dough he is getting in Japan to come to the States to fight a top guy.
Agbecko was suppose to be the fight that brought him over here, but King Kong got UD by Perez. Hopefully Donaire would Man up and call out Hasegawa.
Because he's the lower weights' version of Paul Williams. He's very tall and has a huge reach advantage for flyweights and bantamweights. Noone really wants to fight him.
Aside from his most recent fight with Martinez what had Paul Williams done since the Margarito fight???
Victories over Mitchell, stopping Mathysse, avenging the Quintana loss, and being the first guy to stop Verno Phillips is a very solid resume. Its more than what i can say for Donaire, whos career has stagnated as of late. I have to agree that at the moment, Donaire has shown p4p skills, but in reality its only been against Darchinyan in terms of world class competition. Granted not all of it is his fault, but the fact is, hes still within his power to move up, if hes so tall and intimidating, its exactly what williams did, and now the fights that need to happen for him are happening.

arce is shit now, so dont even bring him up. Nonito needs to move up if he wants to fight Montiel.
Donaire is overrated, its sickening dude has fought nothing but bums, and he's supposed to be a top p4p fighter? if nobody wants to fight him, move up.

Well disprove what I said. Who the fukk has Donaire since the Darchinyan fight outside of bums? Atleast respond with some type of intellect.

Because the only notable is himself. Once was Darchinyan but has moved in other weight divisions to avoid him, to avoid being knocked out again. But Vic Darch was stopped by Agbeko, he had to make an about face and lo... there is Nonito.
Nonito Donaire is a good fighter but he is overrated as hell!
His whole career is based on that sole win against Darchinyan!!
Just like Juan Ma's career is based on Ponce De Leon. LMAO. You notice of how both Juan Ma and Donaire are promoted by good ole Bob Arum don't you?
It ain't Donaire's fault he's being ducked. But we will soon find out. Pinoy Power and Latin Fury is being merged into one PPV(I think that's how they're doing it, lol).
Montiel was already asked by Donaire if he wanted to fight, he turned it down, that's a fact !!
Well, Donaire and Montiel are gonna be on the same card, I think this is TR's way of building it up to a showdown between the two. Good move by TR !!
Donaire and Montiel were scheduled to fight on March 14, but Montiel couldn't make weight at 115 anymore so the fight was canceled. That's what happened.

I thought Mijares was retiring, what happened Warp?
I'd like to know what happened to know what happened to the Darchinyan that learned to pump his jab out and then follow combinations off that jab. He destroyed Mijares with it and used it in a couple of other fights. It seemed to disapper ocasionally in the arce fight and then it wasn't even there the last two fights.
