Can't see Mayweather going anywhere near a fight with Duran.
Duran by UD or late stoppage.
People seem to have this view that Duran was just a brawler, he was as much like Gatti as Ali was like Liston.
Duran in a very close but clear UD. Similar to the first Leonard fight. Mayweather moves around and wins those sections but when he stopes and fights on the inside and against the ropes, he loses the exchanges, which he does a lot.
Duran wins the second half of the fight in a brutal match, and with Mayweather being much more offensive minded at the lower weights gets caught up in many more exchanges. This would lose him the fight.
Duran would slip Mayeather's jab, and straight right to get inside and pound away at the body, slowing Mayweather down for the later rounds in which he would take over. Great fight though. Would have loved to have seen it.
lol @ the people that say "Gayweather loses by first round knock out!"
There ain't no knockout in this fight.
Mayweather would tie his ass up. No way I could see Duran stopping Mayweather. However, I could see Hearns stopping Mayweather, that I can.
Duran was a beast very strong at LW. Duran would not be as easy to tie up as Hatton was...
I could see Hearns stopping Floyd but I could also see Floyd buckling Hearns.
At 135 Duran... Duran is probably the greatest LW ever. He had everything in that weight. Duran a very underrated boxer. I would say Duran by decision and I could even see him stopping Floyd.

Who wins and why?
At 135 Duran. 147 Mayweather who retained his speed at 147 better than Duran did. Competitive fight although I rate Duran as the best ever at 135.
A lot of people don't realize this, but Duran could fvcking box, but he could also be the aggressive brawler, but he brawled intelligently. I think Duran takes this at LW, and likely to win it at welter.
I got Duran by late stoppage; I use to love his spin-around technique (though illegal now) when he hooked his opponent’s waist and spun them around for his counter. I can see him flustering Floyd with it.
Peace.
sounds interesting. can you specifically point out when he does that in what round of a certain fight? i'd like to check it out. thanks.
