Poll coming...
Who should he fight in the spring of 2010? Vitali has been invited by the WBC President to fight in Mexico City in May.
David Haye, John Ruiz, Wladimir Klitschko and Eddie Chambers will not be available so I will not include them in the poll.
Does it really matter I'm sorry but the heavy weight division sucks so bad i dont even watch it anymore, what a shame cause it has so much potential to be back on top.
Tony Thompson maybe, the guy is a pretty good big heavy.
John Ruiz sure if he beats Haye why not.
I would be alright with Haye, but that would be difficult to make.
Adamek if he gets a couple more wins at heavy, I don't really see how he would win but I would be cool with Adamek getting the payday.
Povetkin of course he deserves a shot at either borther in the enar future, although I think he is to green to beat them.
Valuev sure why not.
Povetkin for sure; he's a relatively young contender that wants his shot and I think he does better against Vitali than he would against Wlad. Also, I don't see any scenario where this fight would be boring..

valuev (would be a beast of a fight) then james toney (i dont like him very hyped up)
That's actually the best scenario.
I wouldn't mind Povetkin getting a shot.
Since Chambers already lost to him, I moved up Solis.
Dimitrenko - would be a fun massacre to watch
Virchis - Would love to see these two giants bang, apparently they fought as amateurs
Adamek - would like to see it but he should have another win or 2 before he gets a title shot. I want Tomasz vs Povetkin, Haye, Peter. All would be awesome fights
Boytsov - Would love to see but needs a top 10 win or two
Pianeta - Would be a decent defense to make
Povetkin would be better served waiting for Wlad.
Vitali eats pressure fighters for breakfast, boxers/counterpunchers seem to do better against him.
Never seen Pianeta, so Solis and Adamke would be the best choices. Solis because of his defense and counter punching, Adamek because of his fast hands and foowork.
Yeah I have been in the mood for a Haye-Adamek fight.
But you are so right about Ruiz. He will look like ass for 8 rounds, then a miracle right hand will come. I've seen that shit before.
Can't say I like it, but it's definitely a possibility.
There is a reason why that guy is clinging onto the big time in the heavyweight division with the mere fumes of his disappearing finger nails. Dude is resilient.
You can't say he has given up that WBA strap easily. lol
I picked Solis.. him, Johnson and all these other guys will be the future, the Journeymen, the Champions and the Challengers of tomorrow, I'd say Vitali should fight all the new guys with even the least bit of a chance.. Solis just knocked out Barrett A LOT faster than Haye did and Haye got a title fight for that win didn't he? bring on Solis until the next HUGE name comes along
I think Adamek should get the shot and have the best chance to win
I'd like to see this.
Or just to see him in with James Toney. He's paid his dues by hanging with the big dudes he deserves his last moment on the bigtime boxing spotlight even if that means getting smashed in and stopped for the 1st time in his epic career.
The fact is, Vitali ain't going to get another defining fight. Which sucks for him. There is only David Haye who will generate sufficent hype to generate that kind of event and I'm a Dave fan but who knows with David Haye. He is an enigma. He could go onto great things, or lose to John Ruiz.
Hopefully VK lookin bad against a guy who ain't wanna be there gives Haye some courage. That way VK can finally destroy Haye if Tua or somebody else don't do it first after the Ruiz fight.
