There are other fights I'd rather see Hopkins take like with Adamek or I wouldn't even mind seeing him fight Bute as long as it's at 168 for Bute's title. We already know he's not interested in Dawson. I'm actually excited about this because I really want to see Dawson vs Cloud. The problem is Pascal wants to get back in the ring so if his doctors say that Pascal is ready to fight in April, Dawson vs Pascal will happen first.

The IBO title that green has holds about as much weight as a Louie Vaton belt buckle. And Haye's title don't hold much more weight on top of that. No one should have a problem with this either, I'm not the biggest B-Hop fan and sure I'd love to see him fight Dawson but Chad needs to promote himself better and nobody knows who he is. The money HBO are offering is a disgrace.

I thought Hopkins only wanted big fights? At this point he can fight whoever he wants, but come on Danny Green? I'd rather he fought Paul Williams, someone I would rip on Hopkins if he fought him. Take on some light heavyweights Bernard.

Fair enough, if you're comparing how he beat just 1 opponent, you can say, 'styles make fights', but if all 4 of his opponents go on to be beaten more convincingly not long after he faced them, his legacy is tainted. Furthermore, some fighters like to use the excuse, 'he wasn't the same after fighting me and that's why subsequent opponents beat him more convincingly'. That's definitely true in many cases, but Calzaghe can't really make that claim except perhaps with Lacy. His Jones and Kessler wins were impressive and decisive, but they're not the kind of muggings that leave a fighter mentally scarred for future bouts.
