He doesnt say that he's been around longer than Pac. He always says that he's been on the main scene longer than Pac. He's saying that he was a P4P guy and a big name way before Pac was a big name on the scene
Yes, TOP RANK told Mayweather to jump on his chair and celebrate Pacquiao's victory like there is no tommorrow. After all he says he's his own man right.you know at that time Mayweather was with TOPRANK right? you know top rank has a history of encouraging their stable to support their other fighters right?
im assuming that you know TOP RANK had Mayweather there right?

he prolly had money on the fight thats why he was so happy Pacquiao won
It must have been a big win or a 10th round on the spot KO win cause Pacquiao was favored in the betting odds that night. I mean jumped on his chair and put both fist high in the air to celebrate another man's victory!!!!!!!
Let's just all agree, who was more of a fan of who ok, hehe

Floyd has been boxing since he was two years old. WIth the golden gloves, amatuers, olympics and that he was a relevant fighter in terms of popularity and exposure before pac.
He said around the game...asshole..not in the game.
His dad and uncles were boxers/trainers clown.
Floyd could prolly throw a jab before he could say "dada"
No wonder everyone thinks you're a prick. I'd love to see you talk to me like that in real life. Keyboard warrior.

When infact Pac debuted before him and they both won their first world title the same year (1998). Pac has been around the game LONGER than Floyd.
The reason is obvious my friend. You don't have to think too hard to remember the first time you walked in a GYM or smelled the smells that trigger your childhood memories.
BOTH HIS FATHER AND HIS UNCLE WERE PROFESSIONAL FIGHTERS.
So he was probably in the GYM at a very young age. maybe as soon as he could walk or even before that...Lefty

Amateur bouts maybe?
thats a good ****in record forreal but when did he start boxing in the amateurs?
I would say it's kinda average when compared to someone with an impressive record, let's say Oscar. I think he was something like 223-5. Shawn Porter has 280 amateur fights and some very good achievements, there are a lot of very impressive amateur records out there. I probably wouldn't rank Pacquiao's as one of them.
As for your question, I'm not sure when he started man.
