What happened to Morales vs Mayweather?

Morales, Casamayor, Tszyu and Mosley were all within one weight class of Floyd at one point or another. They would have all been good fights, but it is what it is. Lol at Floyd would've been criticized for fighting Morales.

They were the same size, so you know how that goes.. i know how it goes when you say things without thinking. a guy whos best weight was 122 and moved up to 130 out of necessity is not "the same size" shut the fukk up.

Morales is great but he would have gotten his ass beat. Doesn't mean the fight couldn't or shouldn't have happened.

I think Arum couldnt work out the weight at the time, Mayweather wasnt going to come down in weight for a Morales fight, He couldnt even come down to 128 at the time for a Naz fight so no way would he have come down to 122 or 126 for a Morales fight.

Morales coming off a massive win over Barrera and Mayeather destroying Corrales. Why did the Super fight not happen? Mayweather usually has the reach and height/speed advantage at the lower weights but surprisingly Morales is equall in reach and height. Does anybody here know the story on this? Do you really think after seeing what Floyd did you Corrales that Barrera's team wanted to put him anywhere near Floyd?... Hell no

My best guess is that it would have been a money dispute, regardless of if it got to that point. These two have pretty sizeable egos. At the time, I BELIEVE both were undefeated and it would have been a really big fight. Not to mention that both might have had a feeling it's not the EXACT right time as someone would have gotten beaten and the money might not have been what they wanted it to be. Hard to say, as you rarely hear about this match. Just speculation.
