He's a giant, great jab, keeps his distance, has power, he can take punishment, if you trade with him you are getting knocked, its almost unfair to the rest of the heavyweights.
Povetkin maybe can outbox him, but can he do that for 12?
Adamek like tradings and that's something he can't do with him.
Wlad won't fight him so that one is goes out the window.

Those points are good but the bolded one just made me laugh!
Well considering an old out of condition un-interested Lewis beat Vitali its not too generous a concession to say a prime one might just sneak a win is it?
Watch Ali versus Terrell to give you an idea of how Vitali Ali would go, only difference would be between Vitali v Lewis and Ali v Vitali would be the stitches in Vitali.
The version of Buster Douglas that beat a poor Tyson would beat a prime Vitali so add Douglas to the list.
Vitali is a good fighter who is dominating a poor crop of HW's the proof of that is how well Wlad is doing as he isn't anywhere near as good.
Vitali wouldn't even beat Eddie Chambers, let alone Muhammad Ali.
I would pick Vitali over almost anyone in history at Heavyweight...... Prime Vitali I would pick over almost anyone except Lewis...
I don't think anyone but Lewis had the combined physical stature and skillset to beat Vitali.

Vitali would give Ali a serious beating... and that is no disrespect to Ali.
And Tyson? Wasnt he beaten by Douglas when he was meant to be invincible?
Vitali would just unleash bombs until he crumbled.

Why do these assholes say vitali is beating ali and tyson? I got holmes, foreman, frazier, Brown Bomber, liston, lewis etc beating klitschkos w ease. They are very slow, one dimensional, have absolutely no movement and don't handle pressure well. If you think they are atg name their top victories
Yes of course he can.
5 foot 11, 205lb, Joe "Left Hook" Frazier beat Ali by wide UD in his prime.
185lb Eurochamp Cooper had Ali seeing double when they fought.
Vitali would give Ali a serious beating... and that is no disrespect to Ali.

You are mistaken..
Prime Ali wasn't when he fought Frazier... It was before his banning from boxing for dodging the draft.
His Cassius Clay days.
And Tyson was on his way to being shot by the time Buster Douglas found him. No where near prime.
vitali is good but has ushered in the death of hw boxing. He is sooooo not exciting and one dimensional. the division is dead too but he is the posterboy for disappointing matches
Nobody currently at HW beats him imo.
Eddie Chambers can DEFINITLEY beat him, but he's fighting Wladimir next. Kevin Johnson can beat Vitali if he's seasoned enough, too bad he isn't,
I never realized buster douglass was 3 legged. tyson is so overrated by some its laughable
HAHAHAHA I know. I honeslty feel Muhammed Ali couldve taken the initial heat from Tyson and then Outboxed him after the 7th or 8th when tyson starts to gas and slow down and allow his guard to be penetrated
Don't know about that. Prime Tyson had the same thing Pacquiao has going for him, the aura. That alone makes you almost invincible. And he was the fastest HW I've ever seen par to none.
And Ali didn't have an aura?
bask in his glory
Prime Ali would have humiliated prime tyson, who would be hooking at the air all night long.

His defense would be a big victim to any heavyweight that has good speed and power.
The best fighter he faced was an old man in Lewis. Lewis cut him up bad.
I'm rewatching the fight now, it's shocking how bad lewis timing and conditioning is.

Definitely not David Haye.
I think David Haye gets KOed by Chris Arreola in a devestating fashion
He's getting old and right now I'd favor Haye over him just because he can't be on a day off vs Haye. Imagine the jab isn't working, it happens when you get older, stuff stop working with no warnings from fight to fight. If the jab isn't working Vitali can't set up the right hand though he has a good hook too unlike his brother.. Anyway i'd favor Haye right now as Vitali is nearly 40.
The chin though, haye's chin is the worst in the division, one stiff jab and its herbie hide all over again.
