Zab Judah's thoughts after Cotto Pac fight regarding Mayweather Vs Pac showdown.
ZJ - I think it will be close, but Floyd will go out with a bang. Floyd doesn't have the power to keep Manny off of him. I fought Floyd, I haven't fought Manny, but I watch him and he's a little force. He backed Cotto up the whole fight, Cotto was in there doing those Salsa dances, I thought he was in there doing a tap dance or something (laughing) I didn't know what the Hell he was doing.
8CN - How would you try to beat Manny Pacquiao?
ZJ - You can't let him come forward. You have to back him up with good combinations. Another thing, you have to have power to back him up with. If you don't have power, you are not going to back him up. He's a strong little mother fer, and he's fast, he's sharp. Right now I just want to stay off of the radar screen. I don't want nobody ducking me, I am the quiet storm that nobody see's right now.
Zab on Floyd Vs Pac
ZJ - It would be a good fight, but it won't be a shutout like he got against De La Hoya and Cotto. Mayweather has good defense, it will throw Pacquiao off. I also feel that it would be a 12 round split decision for Manny Pacquiao. I just feel if Pacquiao puts up his normal effort and it goes 12 rounds, they won't do that Mayweather nod shit, that's not going to happen.
I dont think he has ever had problems , even when carrying a bad shoulder he still handled the pressure , its Manny that has cracked to Floyds counter punching style and Floyd is a mile ahead of anyone Manny has fought , makes for an interesting fight between 2 greats .
I'm gonna reverse your post.....Manny is a mile ahead of anyone floyd has fought....IMO, this is what makes the fight interesting....Floyd and Pac are the 2 best boxers in the world right now...This is a battle to determine who's #1...
Thats BS. People will be totally shocked when they see Floyd standing right in the center of the ring with him and then start to walk Pac down.
I won't :fing02:
so Mayweather will walk down a man that just took Cottos best shots and shook them off like mosquito bites. give me a break FFs a i know a good share of people that don't even think he could handle Cotto.
Interesting that Judah thinks backing Pacquiao up is the key to beating him. I think the best way to beat Pac is to shut him down by letting him come foward and look to counter punch.
i for one agree on this post.. heck, even cotto who is not as good as JMM on counter punching was effective when he lets manny come to him..
The only magic i've seen and observed in boxing is floyd pulling the greatest trick that he is unbeatable and the best.
All flomos has been hoodwinked they thought they're seeing god they drools when floyd throws money on cam, sings halleluja when he announced he bought a refurb boat, bows in praises of his philantrophy feeding bums on street without any conviction and getting wide-eyed seeing his fancy cars they want to wash it with their tongues just like how the lick his nuts.
Yes, that's the greatest magic i've seen here. LOL
FLOYD IS A FRAUD!
...and a toilet paper.
What? Are you serious?! I don't post here often but sometimes people need a reality check. Or at least to gain some boxing knowledge from somewhere.
Floyd is clearly one of the greatest pure boxers the sport has ever seen......EVER! A master of his art, and for that he deserves all the respect in the world.
I've watched almost all of Mayweathers fights from Super Featherweight up to Light Middleweight and have always been amazed at the way he can control a fight any way he chooses to....... I've seen him back up and pot shot when he NEEDS to, using incredible defensive skills, yet backing his man up when the opportunity arises. Which shows he has power, speed and accuracy. Then, on the other hand, I've seen him stand toe to toe like a warrior and break his opponents heart... Then pick him apart.
Time and time again, Floyd has stunned me with his brilliance. He is a master at what he does, and for that deserves all the respect in the world. F**K all the pettiness, F**K all the hate........ This man has given his life to boxing and you call him a fraud??
I happen to love boxing and ALL boxers for what they go through.... whether it be for money, for our entertainment or for their own legacy within the sport. It doesn't matter.
Show some respect guys. This forum, apparantly full of boxing fans, is one of the places where I should find true boxing fans who love and respect our boxers. Let's show them all some F**cking love guys.
I'll start......... I love you Ricky Hatton. For giving us all some amazing battles, real wars. You put your life on the line to give us some amazing action in the ring, given your defensive deficiencies, you still overpowered 45 of 47 opponents..... thats deserves some f**king respect.
For what it's worth, I think Floyd will dismantle Manny from round 5 onwards. Manny is powerful and has a great chin, but floyd has too much in his boxing arsenal for Manny to be able to control. It will be a great fight which I expect Floyd to win either by round 11-12 ko or ud.
Zab judah is an uncle tom
:nonono: GTFOH! Go bak to ur pbf hating alt. Nobody really wants to hear all that race BS that ur spewing, I see right through that BS!

no doubt floyd has bested pressure fighters, speedsters, and southpaws, be he has never faced anyone with all 3 characteristics.
floyd said hatton was his toughest fight.
judah gave floyd all kinds of trouble before judah started to fade.
also, floyd said emmanuel augustus was his toughest fight before the hatton fight and augustus is as awkward as pac in the ring.
"Zab ain't Pac. this talk from Zab means nothin."
Zab is also a very fast southpaw who gave mayweather alot of trouble.
zab, lost every rounf except 2. he was shut out
But he has the accuracy to make Pac tentative and stand still. If Pac is willing to walk through the counters and not rely solely on his own countering, then he'll be ok. The worst think Pac can do is give Mayweather the time to think and set up.

I like Zab but seriously is anybody listening to this shit? I guess the dude just decided he wasn't good enough to make it at the top in boxing so now he's calling fights for a living? Didn't Zab predict Cotto would beat Pacquiao?
History has shown that Pac has difficulties against counter punchers. And Floyd may well be the best counter-puncher in the game right now. And he certainly hits harder than Marquez, who gave Pac fits in both their fights.
Credit to Roach, he put an end to Pac being wide open. His defence is a lot better these days. But he isn't Bernard Hopkins by any stretch of the imagination. I expect Floyd will take some heat in the early rounds. Pac is a great fighter. But if Floyd kicks on in the later rounds (as he usually does) and his timing is what it was when he put Hatton away with the check-hook he could start teeing off on Pac for fun.
pbf has had problems w/ pressure fighters and southpaws and speed, but he's never faced a boxer with all 3 qualities.
thats the same thing that was said about JMM. what will be different?
The difference is that everyone thought JMM would be super aggressive and he said so the whole time. It was Floyd's 1st fight after 2 years but honestly when I watch it, Im also scared for Floyd to attack him. You could just tell that he was just waiting to Counter and dude is the best or 2nd best counter puncher in the game. The only time he would really swing was if Floyd swung 1st. With that being said, Floyd just may not be aggressive anymore. However, I think he ususally is against Southpaws, he wants to make a statement in this fight. Its not just about winning. He has to be super in winning because the mainstream really only knows him since the Oscar fight. Therefore he has to show people how good he use to be and let his hands go. Both Floyd and his dad admitted that after the fight. I think he will either be square up with Pac or even if he is going backwards & countering, he will still let his hands go alot like JMM did against Pac
definitely easier said than done. on paper, yes but when you're actually in the ring, floyd wont be able to shoulder roll and black all of pac's punches. they'll both get tagged. you make it seem like pac doesn't have comparable speed and throws slow, wide winging punches.

h2k you got a link to castillo's prediction?
No he doesn't mention any prediction he just said that pacquiao was the stronger and faster between the two.
