All I have to say about plans is this, Floyd is great at getting fighters out of what they want to do. Going in with one plan will not work with him because he is a versitile fighter (people seem to be overlooking this), if they prepare for Floyd to be one thing it is possible that Floyd does something they do not expect. Preperations and plans are great but if those preperations turn out to be for the wrong thing they can be very dangerous and can get someone gutted.

Yes but after he throws the right hand, the lead left hooks might not work as well as it has in the past but if he comes back with the hook after throwing his lead right hand, he can catch Pacquiao with it as Pacquiao brings his head back after trying to avoid the right hand. why would he slip to the inside, to properly slip a right cross you slip to the outside..which is what every pro boxer does. First off Manny never said that he wanted to test Cotto's power early on in the fight. I believe that is a misinterpretation on our part. What he said was that later on when he knew that cotto was no threat, he wanted to test his power to see if he could handle the power. No, Mayweather's left hook is nowhere near the level of Cotto's left hook. That's not the question. It is if the hook will be "effective". and it will for the same reason that the gentleman just explained. Floyd can throw the left hook at any time. That's why guys are more cautious and or tend to get caught coming in.
