has anyone mentioned yet that this guy's style is so much like Calzaghe...first time i've ever seen someone with such a similar style.

Bleh JCC Jr is looking better, the guy is younger than Korobov and his "Pro" fights is basically his amateur career, making a fortune out of people "willing" to pay for his PPVs... why knock on JCC Jr? Actually that is one of my only worries regarding Matvey's career. I think Western trainers and Eurasian fighters tend to be incompatible and it's usually detremental to the fighter. (Tszyu, Jirov, Darchinyan, Adamek) I remember hearing someone say that Korobov and Birmingham actually split and that Matvey's father took over as his trainer? Anyone know if this is true or not? I'd much rather see him with his amateur trainer if it was possible. What a stupid ass post. Just like the wlad and manny right? Please tell me what western trainer messed up adameks cAreeR?

I heard that Arum plans to show the first undercard fights that are not on the PPV on regular cable and then the others and the the main event are coming on during the PPV. I just checked out the guide on my Dish TV and at 7pm, before the PPV starts, the "Live Undercard" is going to be shown on the same PPV channel as the PPV event except you don't have to pay for it. Jus go to the ordering channel around 7pm before the PPV is scheduled to start and I'd imagine it will be the same for Comcast and Direct TV as well. On Dish, it's channel 456 and runs from 7 to 8pm. The PPV runs from 8:30 to 12 am.

This kid had a incredible record before turning pro, hes been moved along nicely and is expected to go all the way.

Apparently Top Rank is planning to show some of the undercard fights free prior to Saturday’s Pacquiao-Cotto PPV, which will include Korobov against Hope. Arum said: “We are going to feed part of the undercard that is not on pay-per-view. We are going to put it on various channels on inDemand, cable systems, on DirecTV and on Dish Network and that will run from 7-8:30 PM ET" So it looks like it you will be able to see it and for free!! Beautiful, Arum seems to being doing a good job in regards to Matvey exposure wise. So that means it won't be shown if you buy the PPV but inseatd will be on some other free channel when it's going on live?

Welcome to Matvey's world, glad you're aboard the bandwagon. I didn't know he was on the Pac-Cotto undercard, thanks for the heads up. He had 3 or 4 fights pretty close together and has taken a bit of time off, i was wondering when he'd figth again. I imagine he's worked on some things and will come back even sharper. Apparently all he does is train like a machine. They televised his fight on the pac-hatton undercard i can't imagine that they won't here. I get the impression Top Rank really are focused on making him a star which is great to see.
