I was at the froch / dirrell fight & let me tell you this , joe would END carl's career if they fought ! Carl is stupidly slow , his movement is awful and joe would put it on him so bad it would be hard to watch imho . Froch is VERY overated imho . Joe would do a worser job on him then he did lacey ! Kessler & aa will EAT him alive !

LMFAO. There is a lot of people here that don't know anything about boxing. You think Calzaghe Froch would pan out anywhere near the way Calzaghe Lacy did? That's ridiculous. Froch and Lacy have totally different styles. This fight would be nowhere near the same. There is also not a chance in hell of Calzaghe knocking Froch out. He doesn't have KO power at world class level. In fact it would be more likely that Calzaghe gets caught and goes down (Just down, not out).

Calzaghe 120 - 108 Froch. I doubt Froch would be able to hit him. And maybe Calzaghe would set the record for most punches landed.

Amazing, the effect that just a couple of short years has on the boxingscene crowd. Just a couple of years ago (even after his win over Kessler), most of the guys here would've picked almost anybody to beat Calzaghe (or rather should I say "Calslappy", as he was known by most of the fools here). Now, for some reason, he'd be a favorite over anybody in this super6 tourney. My, how things change so quickly.

I'm not as irritated with Froch as some others seem to be because I find his delusion quite amusing at the moment (which may change soon). I think Calzaghe should stay retired but even now, whatever he has left, I would take Calzaghe to school Froch. Calzaghe was on a different level than Froch is. One's a HOF fighter and the other...well...is Froch.

Yes, and i cant stand Calzaghe, that said Froch is getting to big for his boots, or as Shadow would say, Froch is an ego maniac. Yeah, he's more arrogant than I am, and I'm extremely arrogant. By the way, the saying was (when I was a boy) "Too big for your breeches". That usually meant I was about to get my ass beat, an almost daily ritual.

i think it's an interesting matchup, too bad it wasn't made and is not going to be made... i'd pick calzaghe to beat him quite comfortably and possibly knock him out.. would probably be an entertaining fight.

All champions have egos. I am just starting to find him annoying, I don’t mind a bit of trash talking as long as its said in a joke sort of way, Eubank was always really funny and I never really feel like Haye takes him self seriously most of the time but Froch just annoys me.

I was never a massive fan of Calzaghe but i would love for him to come back and utterly dominate Froch Lacy style, i don’t see Calzaghe coming back so i am hopping that Kessler will beat him bad, Froch is just really annoying. I don't think that fight would even go the full 12 rds. Calzaghe would beat him far worse than he did Lacy. Froch's career would fall to pieces in one night; most likely result: Calz by ko in the later rds (8-12), Froch's chin would be his only saving grace. If it did go to the cards, Calz by 11-1 UD with possibly one or 2 kds somewhere in the mix!
