4 losses in his last 5 fights with 3 by KO.
He doesn't seem to have it anymore, and I'm starting to wonder how he ever got past Hopkins twice.
I can imagine him struggling against all in the super 6 tournament.
Should he hang them up once its finished?
This guy needs to talk to some doctors, see what they say, and if he continues to keep fighting, he needs to improve his stamina. I still see this as the problem for these early KO's. Don't forget people, when you are tired as these boxers get around the 10th-12th round, it isn't hard to knock them out with one decent punch.
All in all, I would like to see Taylor continue to fight.
I think he should stay in the tourney. He still has much left. He won almost half the rounds against AA and was only 14 sec from winning against Froch.
But if his heart is not in it anymore, he should hang 'em up, before another big puncher reduces his IQ by 20.
Take the money and run why you still have all your brain cells Jermain. You achieved all you'll get in boxing don't let the greed for money and fame steal your health.
He should retire, some fighters are never the same after being knocked out and that could be the case with Taylor imo. Taylor had been sliding for a long time, Pavlik took every him from him that night.
He has got KO:d three times the last time real bad, he should listen carefully to his doctors before he decides what to do. If he still has what it takes to get back on top and decides that it's worth the risk then do. What he should consider also is that maybe he dosen't got what it takes to beat the elite fighters anymore and he risks ending up badly hurt or a gatekeeper who takes beating for little money.
He can bounce back from that loss, the only problem is that he's just starting this tourney against top competition, no tune ups. He could be ruined after the tourney.
Taylor needs to take a little time off and figure out how he can improve his game to keep up with the top fighters. Seems like they have figured him out and he hasnt adjusted very well.
