shit... any updates? Unfortuantely I am hearing confirmation that what the Bild says is indeed true. Jermaine is a true class act and I really wish this wasnt the way he had to end his career. I hope he at least recovers well.

i think taylor was never the same after he parted with emmanuel steward.did any of you watch the build up before the fights? every competitor had clips of sparring,training,etc. jermain taylor clips was of him talking to his kids on internet.he looked homesick & like he would rather be on the couch playing with his children.He didnt look like a guy going to win a major tourney.he may have trained hard but i think steve farhood was right when he said is taylor ready mentally.i think hes going through the motions for a few nice paydays then into retirement.he wont win any of his fights.if he has a hemorrage i bet he drops out or he may get suspended for health reasons.taylor is a class act & family man so it may be in his best interest to stop boxing now or at the end of the tourney if hes clear to fight again. Agreed, Taylor has a great family and should have enough money to retire comfortably- no sense in risking all that.

It was daft putting him in with one of the bigger hitters in the tourney first up. Abraham's KO's can be sickening at times. That's 2/3 Americans in the tourney now with a loss and unlikely to win now. At least one American will be in the semi finals, since there are four spots and only three Euros.

If he had a bleed he is done, they will not let him fight in the US.

I'd give Cloud a chance to take the whole thing if he could get down that low. I am beating this drum because I think Cloud could beat every guy in this tourney. Dawson may be able to too, but he's already tied up and I think if Abraham or Kessler caught Dawson on the chin it would spell good night. Maybe, but the same thing can be said if Dawson catches any of them. After Adamek droppedDawson, Dawson got up and fought back ala Larry Holmes.

Brain injuries and concussions are tricky. I don't think Taylor should continue to fight.
