sorry but we are celebrating here :fest30:
Whilst Taylor could win a wide UD (I'm not ruling anything out in this fight) little in his last few performances gives me the impression that he'll be able to stay out of a the trenches with Abraham for the full 12 rounds. Even vs Froch he couldn't resist getting into dangerous exchanges when he was comfortably beating him on the outside. Abraham won't bring the unrelenting pressure that Froch does, sure, but he's a much more dangerous puncher, and if Taylor gets caught it could be the beginning of the end.
I am going with Taylor. If Taylor stays upright in this fight. I think he edges out a very close decision.
why close? if abraham hits enough to make a decision close he wins by KO. Wide UD for taylor if it goes the distance, in my opinion.
As much as I believe in Taylor, I know if Abraham pulls it off, it will probably be a brutal KO finish.
I like both fighters a lot, just give the edge to Taylor with his height/reach advantage, his speed and I actually believe his new preparations will fix his stamina. The fact he hasn't drained himself for the weigh in, is the first sign of Taylor Version.2.0 :D
I dunno why ppl say that the biggest puncher of all 6 is Froch, I can only tell this, AA is brutal and doesnt get tired..hit as hard in the 12th as in the 1st..really dangerous..he got 1 punch KO power in both hands but wont get any credit for beating a"shot" Taylor..
:boxing:
Seems to me like Taylor should just be able to out point Abraham. Taylor has all the advantages. Should just be a boxing clinic. Probably won't go like that but it should.
JT is the bigger, more experienced and more skillful fighter. His inability to stay active for 12rds is his only weakness. AA doesnt maintain a steady non stop pace throughout the fight which will allow JT to beat him. People will claim JT is back, but all it really proves is you have to pressure JT to beat him. We'll see if he's back if he wins this tournament.
Arthur Abraham will destroy Jermain Taylor :boxing:
Jermain Taylor is withdrawing from the tournament after this fight and A. Green is stepping in when the 2nd RD of fights are kicking in
