That's correct. I don't get why people don't get the business side of this. Not that it matters. I just want to see them fight. Exactly, It's dumb to say, "Pacquiao has done more, he deserves more". What you accomplish in the sport had ZERO to that with a split.

50-50 purse....the winner takes 60-40 of the PPV split.....for ALL of those match ups!!:boxing:......I'm not into all that BS!!

Pacquiao is a PPV success and he has beat Floyds common opponents much more impressively, not to mention he does much better at the gate. While Mayweather vs Marquez failed to sell out, Pacquiao vs Cotto sold out in a matter of minutes. Listen to the dude :lol1:

I'd like it to be 50/50 for floyd vs Manny Pacquiao on paper has done a hell of a lot more to deserve the bigger check though, but 50/50 would do considering the amount of money they would both make. You can't deserve more because you did more in the ring; doesn't work like that.

Pac still gotta beat Cotto. If he does, he's beaten Cotto, DLH, and Hatton, and won 3 division titles in the last 18 months. Mr boat buyer has beaten a LW at WW. Arum will demand a bigger cut for Pac, Mr boat buyer won't accept that or even 50-50. Watch this fight not happen.

makes absolute sense, numbers-wise E but i highly doubt PAC will take 50 or less...he himself is a diva when it comes to negotiations oh I know and its comical how angelic Manny is perceived and how villian like Floyd is when it comes to the same issues numbers dont lie and with the two projections for the Cotto fight for Manny I think both numbers are fair considering Manny (for whatever reason) draws about 27% less people to his PPV and gets about the same numbers $$$wise at the gate no way Floyd takes 50% if he has out PPVd Manny and held court in terms of sales of the gate

Taking Floyd's last three PPVs (where he started becoming mainstream) and Manny's last two with an added 1 million buys for Cotto (to be fair) it went like Manny vs: DLH: 1.25M Hatton: 850K Cotto: ~1M 3.1 Million buys Floyd vs. DLH: 2.4 Hatton: 850k JMM: 1M = 4.25 millions buys Manny does about 73% of Floyd's numbers ~58-42 Floyd now take the live gate Floyd: DLH- 19M in sales Hatton: ~10-12M so take middle and say 11M JMM- 6.8 36.8M in live gate sales Manny: DLH: 17M Hatton: 8.8M Cotto: hmm should be sold out like Hatton Mayweather so lets say 11M 36.8M in projected live gate sales 50-50 in terms of live gate not the expected "Manny does so much better at the gate" that some are thinking IMO with the numbers given 56-44 in Floyds favor seems fine
