Much like the Froch fight, and the rematch with Pavlik, this is a fight that Taylor should win. But I think his stamina issue will kick in late and I wouldn't be surprised at all if Abrahman knocked him out.
right on...
B/c of this tourney being financed by one of the biggest pay-tv corp. in the US I think, that there will be fair scoring applied...
I do hope so.
the fight should be close though.
No friend, i wasn't referring to the judges nationality to the reason on how fights in Germany have been scored.
I was referring to them being paid off to have a certain fighter awarded a decision when they didn't deserve it.
Abraham hasn't had that problem in his career yet but it doesn't mean it can't happen especially with a fight as big as this.
I am just hoping for a good competitive fight with fair judging.

Right, we shouldn't use American judges... :usaribbon
Seriously, in most of AA's title defenses there were at least 2 impartials (judges or ref) from the US...

Yep, agree completely. Taylor should win, but will probably be TKO'd in the 11th or 12th, after fighting a great fight for 8 or 10 rounds and being ahead on the cards.
I'd green you for that post, but I'm lazy and you don't need it anyway. You'll just have to be content with my agreeing with you (something I don't do here often, considering the high ratio of dumbass members to intelligent members).
Taylor has the advantages in size, speed, boxing ability and experience.
Hopefully he fights good enough to get a win in germany.
That doesn't seem likely though with the judges they have over there. :fu2:
I thought the judges for this tournament should have been random.

Super welter? Abraham has weighed in at 170lbs for a fight earlier in his career and he fought Miranda the second time at just under the super middleweight limit. I don't think size is a factor in whoever wins this fight.
I think the TS is placing too much emphasis on height and reach.
all your points on taylor then??
No lol, because Taylor is so unpredictable, he looks good in one round, and gasses out in the other. I was just stating that record wise and size wise, Taylor should be the natural winner.

i was exaggerating a bit, however, in my opinion Taylor has the size of the perfect middle weight, Abraham looks smaller and has the shorter reach. Abraham also never fought the opposition of Taylor. Ans unlike Froch, hes the smaller man.

Despite his problems stamina wise...i just see a super middle against an almost super welter that fights at middle. What do you rekon?
I disagree , it has been well documented that Abraham was struggling @ 160 and was only hanging around for Pavlik !!!!!!
Taylor was an averaged sized MW and id consider him a small SMW , but his size doesnt seem to affect him too much @167 as shown against Froch & Lacy .
Overall id say size and strength wise this one is neck & neck
